I go to a culinary school up in New York that has its roots in French cuisine. Halfway through my first semester I was a little worn out from eating campus food, didn’t have a car, and didn’t know the area that well. After bringing it up with my friends multiple times that week, a mutual friend of ours that had already heard this multiple times said “Well my favorite deli is 5-10 minutes away, you wanna go get something after class?” I couldn’t help it, the first thing that came to my mind was this John Pinette quote and I screamed it at him. Our whole group died laughing.
Side note he said he was eating alot of pommes frite and omelets for 6 weeks and pommes frite are french fries so he ate French fries and omelets for 6 weeks straight

I forgot how much it always made me laugh... Then I find out he died in 2014...and I'm gutted. Came back to Malden Catholic where he went to high school for a benefit...10 bucks a ticket. Brought my 8 and 10 year olds he was that clean. Never laughed so hard in my life...a genuine good guy!!

For me, John Pinette was, truthfully, just one of countless extremely talented comics I enjoyed, but this bit right here was absolutely one of the funniest goddamn things I've ever heard. Both the jokes themselves and Pinette's flawless delivery had me in stiches, I thought I was gonna die from how hard I was laughing. I saw his episode a couple times, I believe, but even then it's been between fifteen and twenty years since then, but this bit stuck with me the whole time. Pure gold.
I think you would fully appreciate it, just by fasting for a day and a half, and then eating dinner at the best Italian restaurant you know of. This will be the most delicious meal of your life, and you will be singing like John, LOL!

So many comedians get a big laugh from the final couple lines of a bit, which is perfectly fine. But John had that comedy where it doesn’t stop. Jokes sprinkled in throughout the whole bit where sometimes he didn’t even give you a chance to catch your breath.
I showed this to my mom when I went to visit her for the holidays. For the entire two weeks I was there, we kept randomly doing the "'EYY LOOK AT YOU!" XD

I am grateful I have never seen any clips of John Pinette in which he used bad language.
