Hi- I am a Norwegian 787 pilot out of Gatwick. The flap setting depends on a wide range of factors such as runway length, weight, temp to name but a few, we are told what flap setting through our onboard performance tool built into the aircraft and then we cross check it with the other pilot who does a calculation also. We use the 'Optimum' flaps on most take offs. (I don't know if the QW 787 simulate that as I haven't got it) Mostly at Norwegian we use from flap 5 to 15.

I love how you explain and direct your videos, and I was wondering if it would be possible for you to create with all your experience and knowledge in these subjects, a Full Tutorial (or could be several as a course) explaining with its respective list in the annexes ) of ALL AND EACH ONE of the steps with the calculations and their respective tools (SOFTWARE) that should be used in “LOGICAL SEQUENCE” of the events that a person must do to make any flight in the Boeing 787 (8-9-10) safely and completely from the state “Cold & Dark”, flight plan, navigation charts, fuel calculation, routes or airways to choose, introduction of all final data in the FMC of the plane, ground services with the GSX, taxi, takeoff, autopilot, cruise route, approach and landing, etc., until arrival, respective taxi and parking at the destination airport. It can be using your fantastic 787-10 You would be the first on the web to make that great effort for your followers and students that we would all appreciate. I hope this challenge and fantastic plan catches your attention. This could be a team work with some of your most experienced and experienced pilot followers. In advance, thank you very much for your patience and time with us beginners.

Hi, just came across your channel this afternoon. It’s the best flight sim channel I’ve seen so far. Your voice is very easy on the ear. The graphics are superb and the range of aircraft and routes you fly are great.
That little airfield you commented on just after departure from LGW, the one on your left hand side, is Redhill aerodrome. I have flown Cessna 182 out of their several times. It’s also home to Bristow Helicopters. Keep up the great flights. How about a Cathay Pacific B747-400 from LHR to HKGs old Kai Tak Airport, using Rwy 13 with the famous checkerboard 😊

Great except for one thing: G-CIXO (Victor Borge) is no longer in the Norwegian Air UK fleet (it was transferred over to Norwegian Long Haul as LN-LNK in July of last year)

On the Norwegian 787, they usually use flaps 5, but also flaps 15

The Flight Simmer is global vector worth the money does it have a significant effect , I currently have global base + LC + EU Europe and I have minimal autogen in england . Would vector help this
The Flight Simmer ok thanks , I have i5 8600k and 1060 6gb , and with medium setting I have minimal autogen and vegetation , so by buying vector I hope it will improve it . Also how do you get the hazy effect on departure
