That stupid blue beam that the Arsenal fires at you that instantly kills you is the most unfair thing since 1 v 4 in call of duty.

I just want to say i thought this video wasnt gonna do anything, my first attempt(before the video i was taking like 30 minutes just standing behind pillars and i accidentally got them both hit by plasma beam, this video made me win in like 5 minutes, this is quality content
Omg was going to comment the same thing. Spent a good 20 minutes trying to go at it, healing and dodging in between. Felt my attacks weren’t doing anything but this fight is all about mechanics. Literally watched the video and came back to beat it in 6 minutes.
This thing killed me, and I accidentally pressed the wrong button after, and I ended up have to fight Rufus and Darkstar again...

I didn't hit the wheels and just focused on the arsenal. you need to be prepared for the last phase because it's gonna 1 hit KO you
This boss made me rage quit. The plasma beam caught me by surprise maybe 15-20 mins in. I died and was extremely disappointed. That had to be one of the most unfair and cheapest attacks by any boss ever. They could at least allow us to revive one time during battle. Most of the boss fights in this game are dull and drawn out. 😡

Definitely appreciate the tip about the wheels. I was having a hard time figuring out why I would do huge damage on them sometimes
Good tips. I would add to that to equip either Aerith or Barret with Revival Materia.
Also, equip Barret with ATB Stagger Materia, ATB Boost Materia, and Steadfast Block Materia.
For Barret, I had HP of 5360,
and MP of 57.
For Aerith, I had HP at 5079 and MP at 109.
Make sure their equipment they are using is at 100% proficiency.
For Barret, I equip him with the Wrecking Ball, so he is up close to the wheels, smashing and wailing on them like a banshee gone berserk.
Aerith doesn't run, but does a hippity-hoppity move set that I tried fixing by equipping her with Deadly Dodge Materia, but it did not work. Aerith's mobility is an issue, and that means she should have cover, popping in and out of cover to launch her attacks.
For a summon, I used Ifrit.
I am playing on the Classic setting. Good luck.

This is the type of tedious fight that will make me rage quit a game. I game over'd last night and I was not happy. I have no desire to go back to it anytime soon but I'll watch this a few more times.
i couldnt beat the game because of the fact that there were no beams left,this helped A LOT
I will say that also using lustrous shield for like the fire beam thingy forgot what the moves called really helps because if your behind it you don't take damage

As a fan of the original 7, I can honestly say I've never wanted a game to be over more. These are not fights, they are drawn out cut scenes for the soul purpose of dragging out a completely insubstantial game.
They gave us way to much bosses in Chapter 17 XD
i've never played the original, but i enjoyed this tbh? stuck on this fight rn ofc, but apart from that i love this game, made me cry, feel anger, joy, etc... im mostly a nintendo person, so maybe the jump in story quality is what hit me, but hot damn. they genuinely got me to care about these characters, their lives, taking down shinra, etc... fights like this suck, but its worth it for the emotionally riveting story.

Not the worst boss but definitely one of the most sorriest boss fights I’ve seen. The fact you can get one shot killed up to the 4th phase then one shot killed and have to fight him again is a big middle finger to us players lol. I was already on the fence with the game regardless

I just switched to easy mode for this cause that was just unfair asf, honestly I stopped playing for moths and didnt finish the game till later
Honestly same. From Rufus to the end of the game I ended up switching to easy mode. The game just started getting wayy too hard, padded and frustrating for me to put up with.
I had to log off after getting halfway done with it, i was so annoyed so evrryhting i did probably didnt save i just wanted to be done it was annoying me and ugh i hated it 🥺😭

This game drags way too much at the end. This chapter just goes on forever. I'm just grinding it out at this point simply to complete the game. This boss fight is hard for me, almost impossible to complete.

I cant reorganize my build during battles so i guess we're just suppose to know what each boss is weak to on our first play through.
As a fan of the original FF7 this remake is 100% generic ASF.
