Peppino is like a godforsaken fusion of Sonic's speed, Luigi's neuroticism, and Wario's strength.
I want to argue and say it’s not but taking notice of those attributes of those characters to Peppino, your about 95% correct

The this is that Totino/Pizza Head wasn’t even building a death ray to begin as evidenced by him taking a shower before Peppino confronted him to a battle.

The hilarious part is, even in your art style, the characters are still on model.
@mario boi well *actually* if characters go "off model" repeatedly as a choice and they do not have a base model to go off of besides a basic idea then as long as they share color schemes they are still "on model"

Pizza Tower is doing what most AAA games never manage: creating a rabid fanbase in less than a month after it's release.

No, he's spot on. There's less than zero reason given. If Pizzaface didn't show up when you ran out of time in a level I'd be convinced Peppino hallucinated the entire character.
This was my theory in my head before I beat the game.
I think pizza face wanted peppinos delicious pizza for himself but pizza face is an Eldridge horror so he used physiological warfare and threatened to destroy the pizzeria with a laser machine that’s not even there when you fight him
Based on this video and this video alone it would seem to me he wants revenge for the clearly alive and conscious ingredients peppino kills for his pizzas

Gotta love how Peppino is always shaking in place, like he's constantly fighting off a panic attack
i love how peppino's shaking through almost the entire thing, really captures the anxiety.
It's amazing how drawing a frame again in a "1 frame per vowel" animation changes the entire feel of a character. From characters like batman, ivy and gus which are calm and level headed to peppino, pizza face and the joker which are wacky/crazy, stressed out and/or just plain scared
The incredible fact with Pizza Tower artwork is that no matter how anyone draw it with ms paint, it still looks authentic
If Pizza Tower 2 ever gets made, I hope they get you to voice everyone in it.

@@jackcolor7184 It's very easy to read game, given the lore surrounding Pizzahead, as a metaphor for big chain pizza restaurants (The pizza tower) vs small struggling local places (Peppino's Pizza). Even if it's not intentional I still think it's cool to think about

I remember seeing the steam trailer a few months ago. Seeing the amount of recognition the game deserves for being in development for 5 years is crazy.

The worst part of Pizza Tower is that there isn’t more of it.
