It's actually not random, it happens when you run into a jumpscare at enemy-killing speeds.
That intro felt like it belongs in the game, whoever made it did a really great job.

I love that 1:29 was included, it became a weird Pizza Tower tradition during every demo to see that animation in particular strike his humor nerve. It’s like that page of Jahn Miis but with more teeth.
Glad someone else noticed this; I remember waiting patiently to see if he would react to that specific animation when part one of the full game came out and was more than happy to see him still laugh at it all these years later

You got pizza face, pizza monsters, pizza toppings, actual pizza, a tower not made of pizza but called pizza tower, an actual pizzaria and whole bunch of pizza stuff. I wouldn't doubt if pizza tower people made this game.
I will never tire of the clear anguish in Vinny's voice when he realizes who the Noise is parodying.

i remember a best friend i have always used to talk about this game back in 2019 to this day because you played the demos, thats all i knew about pizza tower asides from playing the sage 2019 demo back then, this game exceeded all my expectations and i was waiting for your gameplay to finally come out, you were literally the one who made this game popular.
if i could recommend more videogame demos for you to try i recommend you should try rolus in the outskirts demo now!!! its really fun seeing you playing indie stuff so consider it!
You know when I was a kid I used to think the “Story” to Super Mario Brothers on NES was about a Pizza Delivery Man delivering Pizzas to every Castle in the land, when the time runs out that meant the Pizzas were cold and were Free, and when you get the fire flower you were shooting Spicy Pizza Sauce or straight up Hot Sauce at people… Pizza Tower looks like it’s made out of those thoughts young me had while playing original Mario Brothers as a small child.

I've learned that there are numerous Peppino's Pizza's located across the states, and I find that wonderful.
When you really think about it, 50% or more of this game's progress was solely on the animations and art you see during level transitions/cutscenes!

Thank you for getting me into the pizza tower cult-verse, you are the reason why I know about this wonderful wonderful game series with demos that slap harder then they should with a finished game on top of it all where the pepperoni goblins are way to nerfed for their kicking capabilities and peppino becomes real
