by the sound, you’d never expect this thing to be boosted.
you can clearly hear the load ass pro charger
@@h33ctr77 no shit. i suppose i could have worded it differently, but id expect a pro charged car/truck to be loud. not sound like a typical everyday muffle delete🗿
@@b58.soupra I gotta hemi and I put this exhaust on it . Not too loud . No too quiet .
its only turbo`s that muffle the sound
Single cab shorties are the best. Truck sounds good too.
Looks like a cherry bomb glass pack, lol. Sounds great!
That procharger belt tensioner is ready to fall apart.
We used to call those cherry bomb muffler on the 70’s
Sounds a lot better than before 💪
Nice. Sounds good under load and at idle. Quiet on the inside and at cruise. How it should be.
Sounds good ❤
He will be back for a rear resonator delete
Nice rumble
Beautiful Truck , Sounds great 👍
Thanks 👍
Beast mode
Dual 2" is not enough size for boost. A single 3" is 12.5% larger in area than dual 2". The single magnaflow actually flowed better than his new duals. Very disappointed by this one.
My procharged 5.7 is running single 4" exhaust. It flows nearly as good as dual 3". But single 4" offers enough flow to support a little over 650hp with zero pumping losses.
This guy just put glasspacks on his procharged truck because back in the 70s, he ran 2" glasspacks on his 160hp dodge 360. He fucked up.
What should I put on my 2005 silverado. I just put spintech 9000 xpipe no cats 2 1/4pipe out the side in front the tire. Sounds like a logging truck I feel like I paid for no muffler at all thears no sound just noise
@@markbates2059 you only ran 2¼" pipe? I guess I should ask what engine you have first? 2¼" is fine for the 4.3L v6, but the 4.8 or 5.3 v8 should have something bigger. Usually single 3" works pretty well.
As far as mufflers go, magnaflows have great sound control while flowing nearly as good as a straight open pipe. Their 4"×9" oval mufflers with center inlet/outlet are pretty mild. They use stainless steel mesh to absorb the sound waves. I have one on my wife's Tahoe. It's mellow, but has a decent growl when you put your foot in it. The longer mufflers will be quieter than the shorter ones. I'm running a 14" body on mine.
The location of your tailpipe also affects the sound inside the cab. A stock tailpipe will put the sound further away from you rather than dumping the exhaust right next to the cab or echoing around under the bed.
Here is a list of some 3" center in/ center out oval case magnaflow mufflers from Summit racing. There are a few different lengths.
www.summitracing.com/search/brand/magnaflow/part-type/mufflers?n=inlet-diameter-in:3-00%2boutlet-diameter-in:3-00%2bcase-shape:oval%2boutlet-quantity:1%2binlet-quantity:1%2binlet-location:center%2boutlet-location:center
If you don't like the prices.. here's a FlowMonster brand that should be comparable. They only had one 3" center in/out oval muffler listed. It's the 14" body like I've got on my Tahoe. www.summitracing.com/parts/fmr-11219-fm
The guy at the shop said dual 2 1/4 was good enough without the cats to 2 1/2 center in center out spintech 9000 they sound good when I take hard but regularly driving sucks
The side exit is better than turn downs I wanted flow master 40s but tried something different lol I guess I'll just wait until I rebuild the 5.3 mild build 9.1 comp small cam valve job port polish heads maby bigger intake then it should sound good with a good tune
That's a thing if it's not tuned it sounds like shit
Should have put the mufflers closer to the engine; would have given it a deeper sound. Still sounds nice tho
@lAcid Rainl there’s a lot of ways to manipulate engine sound
Looks like cherry bombs, very interested in pro charging the new body 5.7 I got
That thing moves holy shit lol
I didn’t think it was actually boosted, until I saw it dang
He needs longtubes . I put them on my truck cut off .4 off the 1/4 mile
Awesome truck
Thanks 👍
Sounds good
It sounds good. But I would of used the MagnaPacks instead.
Damn this things good
i did not know that there was a r/t version of the ram 1500 before does anyone know which particular model years of the truck that had it?
Wikipedia says there's been 3 generations. 1st is 06-08. 2nd is 09-12. 3rd is 13-18.
9.5 average mpgs. Bro DRIVES it!!
Yes it does!
Its cheaper to get a cam than procharger it . The cam can get u to rev out too 7k. Stock is 6k not alot of powerband to playwith
Oodles of torque. My guess is 500hp.
Should have installed a flowmaster super 44
Flowmasters "series" mufflers are bad for flow which hurts power
Flowmaster mufflers drone like crazy. Drove me nuts in a month
Not bad
Sharp truck. Good sound. Horrible welds/ pipe fitment as usual.
I'm assuming you can do better right? The welds are decent in my opinion
@@bobbywasabi312 Bad is bad. My exhaust guy's does better work.
I agree. You see it in every video. Butcher welds and horrible fitment
Lmao glad someone else notices
W
Never use Glass Packs anymore. Use Steel Packs. People don't even know
Cut those glass packs off and put on Steel packs
Sounds like forzas v10 viper
If only it didn't void my 1,000,000 mile warranty
Cherry 🍒 packs
I like that Cady!
Sounds like a bearing is out
That pro charger sounds broken
Avg 9.5 mpg lol
needs res delete
To quit!!!
its sad that beast has those ugly rims
He need to remove the R/T emblem of
