Icelandic 4x4 Truck Build - 2003 Nissan Patrol

Come along with us as we spend two days with Explore Iceland Now touring Iceland in their fully built Icelandic 4x4. These trucks are purpose built to tackle the unique Iceland terrain. In this video we discuss the recipe for building an Icelandic 4x4, which they refer to as Jeeps. You will also be treated to some beautiful images of Iceland as you see the vehicle in action.
Iceland is an incredibly beautiful, rugged land that offers spectacular areas to tour. To really see the country up close, you need a well built Icelandic 4x4. We teamed up with Explore Iceland Now for two days of discovery along Icelands southern coast. Day one we toured Landmannalauger. Day two had us heading to Thorsmork (Valley of Thor), a nature reserve in the southern Icelandic highlands.
Touring with Fannar and Bjork from Explore Iceland Now was an amazing experience. Traveling in their fully built Icelandic 4x4 allowed us to safely access spectacular areas as well as learning cultural and landscape history and details from native Icelanders. This is the way see and discover this spectacular land.
