OMG! Congratulations! Great name! I adopted a Chi/Rat Terrier mix last summer...the biggest small dog I've ever adopted. My others rescues have all been Labs and Shepherds but I'm seriously loving the small dog vibes. Wishing you lots of love and adventures with Mai Tai.

Love my Kanyakumariana, Panchoi, Walliniana and Noona pink too! Have several Lacunosas and the Minutiflora along with several Krohniana and Engleriana. Adorable pup!
Great video! I’m loving small leaf Hoya lately. Parviflora is newer in my collection. It’s got great lacunosa vibes with a beautiful splash. It’s not flowered yet, but is growing a lot. Leytensis is another small leaf fave.

Yeeeeepp my H. Engleriana did exactly that! It was thriving and looking so good and then boom it kept dying off and finally she was down to a few nodes and would not root. I tried everything. RIP Hoya Engleriana 😢

I have almost all of my Hoyas on round trellises for space reasons, but this one is too pretty to! I love your lacunosa Durian Perangin - it’s so full! And congratulations on Mai Tai - what a cutie!
I love small leafed Hoyas, mostly because I can have more! Been wanting to get a Serpens but not brave enough based on some people’s struggles. I love the heuschkeliana inner variegata, linearis, and gps7240 (I consider that one small). Linearis doesn’t seem so popular anymore but when it grows well, the baby leaves are just to die for!
Very interesting to describe the heuschkeliana flower scent as butterscotch. It has a very dessert like scent. I always think of it as smelling like birthday cake or vanilla frosting. I only have a tiny green one. It stopped flowering after I repotted it this spring 😢

You've been missed, and to come back with small leafed hoyas; yay. My lithophytica is still in the tiny leaf stage, but it's growing; my IM-08 is a tiny cutting just starting to root. Keep an eye out for H sp aff serpens (Xiaojie 001) - cute, tiny round leaves, raised midrib without any of the drama. You may have added one or two to my wish list.
New to your video's. I have a question. Do small leaf Hoyas do better in Pon? I have one not about 3 years it's doing ok but sadly no new growth. I took a photo but not sure how to send it on this message. Thank you ❤ your video was awesome by the way and I subscribed
I dont think they do better or worse in any potting medium, I am just very comfortable using PON and dialing in nutriets, so that is what I plant mostly everything in.
Great video post. I love that darker looking fall coloured Lacunosa. I am not one for small leafed Hoya. I am a veiny larger leaf kinda guy ;) Having said this, one of my best growers is Hoya cummingiana. I chop and prop it all of the time. Now that I see how you hang them in those pots you suggested before ( I had to buy them) I will do up a basket of this. PeterInHalifax.

Love the pup - I have a Chihuahua/terrier named Rowdy. Favorite small-leaf Hoya I have are Lyi and cummingiana. On my wish list is endauensis.

I have a hoya zambales and a hoya pyrofolia. It took so long to root the cuttings and get new growth. Can't wait till mine blooms one day.....

It depends, but if the plant is for me, then yes, I root in my PON mixture.
