I will never understand why so many people are stupid in this world....If you learn to ride well, the R7 is more then enough bike for the street. Plus it looks beautiful, and sounds amazing with a Full Exhaust.
I'm not the biggest fan of these bikes. They (or at least the MT-07 as the R7 is not as old) shined once but now they are the worst P-twin bikes in this class except for the Kawasaki 650 lineup. My Duke 390 has ride by wire, and a better TFT display and interface in my opinion for way less than these bikes. Pretty sure even the Duke 125 has this... Edit: Not the biggest fan doesn't mean I hate them, and the reliability is solid, but it's lacking in performance, brakes are a bit worse than the competitors and at least the MT-07 has way worse suspension than the competition. Thankfully the R7 has quality suspension but the name is a disgrace to the old R7, I think RT-07 would be more fitting. RT = "Racing" because faired sportbike and T for Twin as in Parallell Twin engine, and the 07 = 700cc (technically 689cc)
I would not invest in a parallel twin. I grew up with inline 4's that were ligt years ahead of these bikes as far as performance. And there are plenty used bikes out there for a fraction of the price that perform way better. Just m.o.p
The mt 07 is mainly made for a2 license in Europe. It’s up to 48hp and you can throttle bikes from up to 95ps. Inline 4s on 48ps perform way worse on 48 ps than inline 2s. And the mt 07 is not made for going majorly fast it’s for beginner riders getting into faster bikes. You can get a Liter inline 4 after that

MT-07, if you want a parallel twin sportsbike go with the aprilia rs660
Ninja 650 vs z650
Muy caras
Y la MT ya deberían darle una actualización y un poco más de potencia
porque todavia son lideres en venta, pero a finales de este año vamos a ver que tanto daño le ha hecho en ventas la honda y la suzuki

I have the MT-07 it’s a work bike. If you need to go fast look else where.
