I believe they should have contacted some of the top players (like Nakkiel), and ask them to test out SSB Goku & SSB Vegeta. Would have been more exciting matches.

First, if i had the access to the closed beta, most likely. And also that with how much footage of the beta was provided by the expert players, It wouldnt take too much time to do so.
Second, i never said "I", i said that with expert players like Nakkiel, this would have been better
And lastly, i clarified that its good that they showed some elements of SSB Goku & Vegeta, since from the trailers, that isnt seen much.
Also, mostly devs do not know how to Play their Game. They at least managed to do decent stuff
Beast King These guys are better than the average player. I know the game isn't even out yet but with beta gameplay and predictions of what the average skill of a player would be, these guys are pretty high up there.

They probably just implemented that to goku and vegeta to test it. Wouldn't make sense if the other fighters arent getting it lol

this is from the black arc...the color palette is from Super. The original one was more blue
The city is very grey and dull looking, but there is no rain. In the Future Androids Arc when Trunks goes to find Gohan only to see his dead body laying in the city, it was raining.
However, in the Black arc, the sky is always grey-green and dull in the city area. There was also no rain at all throughout the whole arc. Also, they're showcasing Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, who fought Black and Zamasu in the city.

That developer was a monster on Gohan and almost did it but then the other developer played a great Buu in the end and did a crazy combo. WP. I'm not a fighting game kinda guy but this was dope.

Yeah, it's hinting towards Goku Black. I'd be surprised if Black doesn't make it in this game in some way, whether it be on the main roster or as DLC. He's too good of a character for them NOT to include him, plus Vegeta's level 3 move is a direct reference from his fight with Black in the anime.
Or maybe the Ruined Future is from Z? This shit didn't appear in Super first.

Raven Patmon it's an aggression meter (I think under night in birth had it too) where the more you land the more Dragon ball you get which then you can choose full meters,heal,or revive a fallen character etc

That was dope, especially that little part between 0:22-0:26. Where Goku attacks, but Vegeta is defending so Goku uses instant transmission to appear behind him, but Vegeta predicts where he would show up and throws a ki blast behind him hitting Goku in the progress. Then Goku backs up uses instant transmission in front of Vegeta mid-air and attacks, but Vegeta blocks again.

Would love to see the fusions (gogeta, vegito or gotenks) make it into the game.
Or like a fusion mechanic where if two eligible members are on a team you could perform fusion and esaentially the fused character would essentially like in pokemon pain split the difference in health and you would be left with two party members

It wouldn't be a far cry to see fusion characters (Especially Gotenks)... But I don't know about a fusions-based mechanic.
At most, expect to see Goten/Trunks perform the Fusion Dance to fuse into Gotenks for an intro.
Gotenks and Vegito are probably in; SSGSS Vegito at the very least, since he's recent, although that means there's no regular Super Vegito, which is a bummer.
There's likely no fusion mechanic if there's no universal transformation mechanic, so don't get your hopes up about that.

Depending on how much bars you have(3 minimum for the fusion) that's how long it last and the more supers you use it shortens your time and after the fusion the two characters healthbars should be equal

So far, this version of Goku and Vegita are separate characters, with different fighting styles than the base versions. The Devs said they didn't want a bunch of different transformations, especially since many characters wouldn't get them. They also probably won't have any more versions of either character in the game, so there's room for other characters.

RIP MVCI. The last time I kept up with this series was when I played Dragonball GT Final Bout in the late 90s on PS1 (anyone remember the add-on you plug into the back of a PS1 to play imports?), and SSJ4 Goku was a thing.

The gameplay is 60 fps of course. The cutscenes on the other hand run at 24, that way ArcSys is trying to "emulate the anime".

Overall It goes in 60 fps, until you go to combos and cinematics. This is to emulate the anime effect, which is on point
I'm sure there will be some unofficial exe mod to run cinematics at 60fps, they did it for a lot of pc games, even if this usually introduces some glitches.

Blue has nothing to do with Lazy. Blue is just easier to actually say. That was the whole reason they gave blue as an option for super saiyan god super saiyan.

Fight night 2 from 10 years ago or something line that and I think the first ufc undisputed game had the option to remove the bars and numbers and everything. Though I might be wrong because that was around 10 years ago. Other games let you disable the HUD. I know Assassins Creed 2 did. (I haven't played videogames in a about 5 years.)

I only have one complaint. No Resurrection F outfits for SSB.

Unlikely tbh. There are just a couple of characters that are memorable of the whole tourney so far.
And also a few that actually have enough moves for a moveset (most Universe 6, the Justice Trio & the wolves). The rest are pretty much unexplored and do not have enough stuff to build something around them.

I honestly believe the Universe 6 sayains are boring and i rather have Broly than Kale unless their powers get explored more.

Shecklesmack it's high-level competitive fighting game stuff. I'm pretty sure you already know what a combo is but gameplay in these types of games is so fast it's hard to tell sometimes when you got to hit confirm, hence if an announcer screams "counter" it allows you to know that you hit the opponent during their startup animation and therefore they have extra hitstun meaning you can do longer combos and certain combos that weren't possible before and that's how these players know, on a dime, what types of combos to go for.
It's so you can know when you can hit confirm into a combo using audio instead of visuals, because audio is processed faster. If you didn't know it was a counter you wouldn't know whether or not you could hit confirm.
This is the game I've been wanting for bout a decade its crazy dbz has set the bar!!

So, I don't know if anyone will answer my question, but here goes: I love the artwork of Akira Toriyama. He did the art for Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest, after all. But where do I start watching Dragonball? The original series? Z? Z Kai? GT?
Max Ducks Start with Dragon Ball (original). Watch it in Japanese. Then watch Dragon Ball Z Kai in English. Lastly, watch Dragon Ball Super in either language (Japanese is way further in the story than the English dub though). GT isn't canon, so treat it as a sort of spin-off if you choose to watch it.
This actually showed more insight to SSB Goku and Vegeta. Lookin at them both, they are basically the Holy Order Sol to Sol Badguy.

Majin Buu has the sickest gameplay ever. He's going to be a nightmare for any tournament play because of that 50/50 combo when he has 5+ bars.
