Hi, Ben! I just bought the HP Pavilion Gaming yesterday! Thank you for your videos, it helped a lot. I got the Ryzen 5 5600H, 8GB RAM, RTX 3050, 144Hz. I hope you have videos on how to take care of gaming laptops. I just have one quick question, should I plug in my laptop at all times? About the screen... It depends, that model you test i assume had 45% NTSC screen color gammut (or whatever its called), since that translates to that yours 64% sRGB color space... But there are also versions with 72% NTSC color space, (which is like 95-99% sRGB color space) , and i assume these are OK/Normal/Great. So that solves that problem :-).
I have the same laptop but I dont come close to the battery life you stated. Is there some advice you can give me. I get 4hours of youtube video streaming at mid to low brightness
One issue i have with the card reader, its trash and doesn´t get above 30mb/s no matter what. Tested several micro sd cards and in another card reader they reach up to 100+. So you reach a 3rd of the potential speed, sure might even still be useable as a temporary storage upgrade to keep your music on etc... but aside of that i really wished they went for a better build in card reader.
