Bought myself an A3500 in brushed stainless finish, all the the containers, bowls, cups, and food processor last week! I was gonna sell my Pro 750 but keeping her too…I love her and can’t bare to sell for peanuts (7.5 years old so no longer under warranty). LOVE Vitamix. It is the one thing in my kitchen I never want to be without.
@@LetsEatPlants it’s a workhorse. It’s the heritage edition with true metal base in stainless steel. Real metal, not brushed like the new ones. So she’s a beast! Haha I wanted to take advantage of all the new extras like the food processor, cups and bowls and whatever else comes next so that’s why I got a new one. Old one still works great so now double the fun?! 😂😂🤦🏻♀️🙄😬🙄
Tritan polyester isn't plastic. Tritan is what aircraft windshields are made of. You really have to abuse it to scratch, cloud and it's unbreakable. Glass on the other hand is a major safety issue...imagine dropping a spoon or leaving a spoon in the blending jar then starting it up. The force/torque of the Vitamix would of course destroy the spoon but in the process could actually cause the glass to explode and the spoon would then become a projectile flying across your kitchen. So I'm okay with the Tritan polyester jars.
It’s a great machine!!! I do think it may be a bit overrated (controversial words I know 😂😂) but the blending power is truly worth it! I think you will enjoy it when you get it. 😊😊
I love my Vitamin. I clean mine by blending a little soap and water although I do want to get one of those little spatulas for getting food out of it. Enjoy! I bet you'll love it!
Thank you! Yes, it was so weird to clean it like that at first, but I’m loving the easiness of it! And I totally agree .. those spatulas *do* look pretty useful. 😂😂 I might give in and buy one as well. 😆
Yesss! I used it for a dressing last night! Worked so well! Just blended some raw cashews with ACV, mustard, maple syrup garlic & shallot. Didn’t even need to soak the cashews first. So amazing. 🤩🤩
@@LetsEatPlants Yes, I love it. I use it a few times a week. Made hummus, smoothies, sauces, smoothed soups, nice creams etc, it’s great. I have not made nut butter yet. For the longest time, when I first got it, I let fruit slightly defrost before I made smoothies because I was afraid I would break it 😂
@@wildaboutcooking2594 hahaha omg that is ME right now!!! I’m still treating it very gently. 😆😆😆 Ooooh nut butters! Forgot a vitamix can make those as well!!! Wohoo! Homemade peanut butter here I come! 🤩🤩
@@LetsEatPlants 😂 I know, I still treat it very gently 😂 Hence why I have not made nut butters yet 😆The best way to keep your container looking better for longer is to dry it after you wash it ip, don’t let it air dry or eventually you’ll get those cloudy water marks.
Thank you! My mother-in-law designed this kitchen when she bought the house 10 years ago. I will ask her if she remembers what she used, but I'm pretty sure she won't remember. 😆😆 It was probably one of the standard choices from her contractor.
Thanks for the comment! That is helpful for me to know for next time. 😊😊 I did show a bit starting at 1:25 but now I know to film the packaging more carefully! The contents were packaged with two ice packs on the bottom, then all the contents on top of that, and another ice pack on the top. The cardboard box also had full insulation surrounding the contents. Hope this helps!
Great video Maddie but i checked the prices on Amazon UK and over £300 for a blender. Not in my budget and would take me at least 4-5 years to save up for one but I don't want wait that long🤣 I think the Ninja brand would be more within my budget and it wouldn't take so long to get one.
I totally get that! I did use the ninja for a long time, and I do love that it gives you different attachments to use (mine came with a tall pitcher, a food processor cup and 2 small smoothie cups that processed everything really well). I did get a bit frustrated having to make my cheese sauce in smaller batches in the ninja cups.. but ultimately it did work and I was always able to get a smooth sauce. I also found work-arounds like soaking my nuts first (or boiling them 10 mins) and that helped a lot too! If you are not too fussed with super smoothness the ninja is a great blender! I haven’t tried many others (I just had a basic one before the ninja) but I believe there are a few good brands out there! 😊😊 What are you currently using to blend??
@@LetsEatPlants I did have a blender that came as part of a food processor but unfortunately the plastic container is broken so I am not presently using anything as a blender. I have noticed on the Vitamix UK website there's the option to pay for it over between 3 to 24 months for me it would have to be over the 24 months period to spread the payment's.
Ahhh I see! Blender vs. food processor has been a tricky one for me in the past few years! I do feel that both are very useful.. and very different. So that’s great you already have a food processor! If you don’t make a lot of things with liquids, I think you can get away with using mostly a food processor... but a blender is nice to have as well (I mainly use it for smoothies, dressings and cheeze sauces lol!) Maybe try looking for a replacement part for the pitcher that broke? 🤔🤔 Yes, I believe that I did see Vitamix can spread out the payments! I do love that they give options. But please don’t feel obligated to buy one! I would only want you to do that if it makes sense for you financially. 😊😊🙏🏼
The spatula is included inside. It still in your box. I had to return mine because it was smoking from the very start. Very disappointed. Probably a lemon.
My Vitamix is old enough to vote. The carafe has been replaced once, but the base is still chugging along. Love it.
😂😂😂 I love that!! I am looking forward to owning this beauty for years. 😊💕

Nice!! The stainless steel finish is lovely... good choice! Haha, I would keep the older one too. I'm sure it still works great! 😃

cannot wait to get a Vitamix in the future!

Great job in explaining tips and how to use
Thanks! 😊😊
Love the cup I make my salad dressings with this. Not just a smoothie cup.

How do you get the base to recognize the smaller cups? I’m ready to return mine if I can’t figure out how to use the smaller cups.
Yayyy!!! Way to go hubs 😁
😂😂😂 Yesss! It was not without a bit of nudging... but it paid off. 🤣 And now he gets to reap the benefits of all the creations that come from it. LOL.
LOL, that's a great thing! Happy New Year

I was super excited to get mine last year 😉
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Exciting isn’t it!? How have you found it over the last year? Are you getting as much use out of it as you thought you would?

😅😅🌱🌱🌱
Did you find it easy to set up? Do you have to do anything? Is it hard to line up blender jug with base? Thank you 😊
SO easy! It’s basically plug and ready. 😃 No need to line anything up on the blender, it can be used no matter which way it’s turned. 😁
I love mine.
I can’t believe I waited this long! 😅😅
