- Metallica perform the Diamond Head classic "The Prince" with Diamond Head's Brian Tatler and former singer Sean Harris. Diamond Head originally recorded the song for their 1980 album "Lightning to the Nations". This version was recorded live @ The Fillmore in San Francisco, California on December 5th, 2011 (the first of four Metallica 30th birthday concerts). Clip is incomplete due to loss of the battery.
The diamond head sound is soooooo present in Metallicas music.
Metallica have a lot of thank to Brian Tatler and his Riffs.
Kick Ass Riff ! One Of my favorite solo all of time
That’d be awesome to see, Diamond Head with Sean again
This is like the metal equivalent of jamming with Mozart or Beethoven. Master and students.
i saw D8amond head supporting Megadeth i didnt recognize them as it was with Nick on vocals i like Sean Harris way better
Now DH with Ras on Vocal - and they rule now !!!
Bom is doing a great job on vocals right now - I saw them inScotland 2018 and he was great on the classics as well as the new songs. I wasn't a fan of Sean Harris but he had good skills, just not for metal, like a Rob Halford but without the aggression and control. Can't wait to see DH with Rasmus again after things are back to normal.
Awesome, one of my favorite covers Metallica did... man these guys along with Biff Buford still got it and stole the show!
DiamondHead and Metallica......awesome!
Especially in Kill 'Em All.
Sean Harris has disappeared from Earth and now he's back! I wish this would lead to him returning to Diamond Head because Nick Tart is wrong for the band.
Last thing I heard he was working on something with another musician last year
@whatthefluk Nick Tart's got a good voice, but no doubt Sean's got that extra something - every time I listen to the albums they did with him, he doesn't sound like anyone else; a really unique voice!
Kirk needs to watch Brian Tatler and TAKE NOTES.
una verdadera lástima que la cámara se haya quedado sin batería en este momento tan ÉPICO! excelente!
Damn!❤
Kicks ass!
Ridiculous for a band like Metallica to have relied on covers of four Diamond Head songs, but Lightning to the Nations was a more influential album than anything Metallica could offer thereafter. Back in the day, I was blessed to have seen DH with Sean Harris twice... how sad these days to see Tatler flogging a dead horse.
I’m pretty sure black album and master of puppets are way more influential then “lightning to the nations” as they arguably the biggest metal records of all time but go off buddy.
How ignorant, Metallica are considered one of the most influential band of all time.
Diamond head members have often said that without the Metallica covers Diamond Head would have never had the future exposure they did
@HeavyMetalSonicRM you probably wouldn't even know about diamond head if it weren't for metallica
im wondering that what happened to the old bassist of diamond head , colin ?
Died I think
I'm wondering that too
Especially after another 7 years
nice
Hetfield is a god and you know it
People are like “Metallica exists because of Tatler” …… yeah, no shit. Who has Tatler on stage?
@bookworm1138 No one would. What's your point?
Too many guitarists on stage.
Leave, Kirk.
Fuck off son of a bitch
@@sagarsunar Brian Tatler is bigger that Kirt and James Together.😃
Kirk's great, and you're a nobody.
Francisco Nieto Guitar lol nice joke
@@oldmatevb to be fair, diamond head were big inspirations to metallica so id say the had a factor in the metallica sound which if you think about it, it can kinda make him bigger but no shit metallica is more famous
metal militia.lol
Ahora tocan con lady Gaga 😁
Metallica is so lame!
