This has been very enlightening. Thank you Jack for filling me in on the Silver mines of the Cochise county mines and the Superstition area mines. I use Bismuth as a support metal when,
I make parts that have open spaces and need further machining the Bismuth is melted and is poured in to solidify the part structure. Bismuth expands upon cooling.

WOW! i do love these stories. i am 67 years old. still pretty healthy. and fit. i am having these dreams of living the rest of my days living like the old miners with the whiskers, the donkey, living in the desert, searching for that mother lode so to speak. i have looked at Nevada, and Arizona, for silver and gold. i don't want to go under ground, but dig maybe a big hole and follow a vein that way. your stories about the Superstition Mountains is inspiring, but scary, like Sennes gold and the Woodbury's. just amazes me. i always wonder if all the train holdups, if all the gold from them has always been recovered. i was born 100 years too late.

I've crossed those mountains since 1979 wen i was 4 years old going to visit my 2nd and 3rd cousins and Great Aunts and Ukules in Clifton AZ.. Today I'm 49 and still taking that 660 mile trip from Los Angeles where I live and was born and raised to see my second third fourth and fifth cousins still residing in Clifton. Unfortunately their is no Great Aunts or Uncles with us current day. I've seen the 10 dFWY go from a 2 lane road threw Phoenix too the parking lot it is today. Every year when I come out, I see how much closer west the 10FWY is getting.. I always dream about finding the lost treasures residing in those mountains hidden creases.

Most of the old mine owners were secretly dowsing to find their mine's ore bodies. Today, all of the physics used in dowsing have been reverse engineered and explained in the book, The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), which also teaches how to build the modern light weight ball bearing rod for becoming a professional dowser by practicing the book's dowsing lessons. I hope dowsing enriches your life and have a safe, healthy, good day.

And if the angle of the sun setting changed 5 degrees? in the last 150 yrs how much would that change the angles of the place you were looking at? Hunh, I'd heard years ago that it was historically documented that over a thousand years ago there used to be a mine somewhere in Greece producing Electrum. So much that some people minted coins out of it. The Greeks knew it was an alloy, but separating the gold and silver was too much work. So, they just purified it and used the mixture. Apparently that mine got tapped out centuries ago, but back in the day it seemingly had quite a lot of ore in it.
Didn't know that was also something people found in the US SW.

@@dustinjohnson3463 yes some very high grade owned by the Dutchman and not flour gold but nuggets! BUT you see the mine has been high graded for over 100 years and the mine tunnel has been closed and now the Pit has been closed also you can read more about it in Lost El Dorado of Jacob Waltz by Jack San Felice and Jacob's Trail by Jesse Feldman and his new book out by March 2022 as a followup to his original tht clears up some misconstrued facts!!!

Hope you didn't just start a new gold rush! I always cringe when you guys cover a story about an area that's on my prospect list. Thanks anyway...and by the way... Jack is not a noted speaker! ...he doesn't use notes like Hank!
