      It hasn't been, the gold from the "Dutchman" was tested, recorded, and has no equal found in Arizona. His Vein of Gold remains undiscovered.
      That is so amazing, considering all the People who have searched, and those that searched with the benefit of his direct clues.
      What I find absolutely confounding is "How they went all that time and Never sat down and recorded the directions".
      I can't accept the story they
      Makes no sense, or as they say where I'm from:
      "That dog just won't hunt"

    You know guys this is my professional advice about this topic. You know it would take alot of interest in me to just go out there and look for the Dutchman's Gold Mine without their being more of a emphasis on me to do it bc IT'S SOO HOT THERE WHEN THEY LEFT and you'd have't promise me that we would find something at the least out there if we looked for it. Soo what's this map Jake drew for Julia? I keep telling people that the mine is soo hard to find and in a bad posistion against a rock face that you'd have such a hard time getting to it due to the rugged area it lies in.

    The mine was found in January, 1960. In an episode of Maverick, Beau Maverick played by Roger Moore met The Dutchman and was led to the mine by him. They had the gold but it was cursed. Anyone who touched it died a violent death. Also, the Dutchman didn’t die at Julia’s. He died from an Apache arrow in his back.

      Rolando-Many have searched even digging up under Jakes Adobe but my belief is that the great floods of the Salt River during the late 1800s and early 1900s moved any of those cans down stream and broke open those cans and scattered the ore to CA. The people of that era did not know about the cans of ore because it was only revealed to Reiney and Julia and they never revealed that info. Would you !!! Jack

    How did the gold stay under his bed if the water washed his whole house away

    • @jacksanfelice8840
      @jacksanfelice8840 2 года назад +2

      The timeline was that the box was under the bed at Julia's house before the flood-I believe that he moved the box from his house to Julia's just before the flood and was probably going back for the cans of ore when he was caught in the flash flood. In the desert it is not hard to be caught in a flash flood. Each year many people i the Phoenix area get caught in flash floods and some people do not understand the power of a flash flood and try to drive through flooded areas and they and their vehicles are washed downstream and perish. While hiking in the mountains one year we were caught in a flash flood but moved to higher ground before the place where we were was overwhelmed with fast moving water. See the video on Jenkins Lost Gold for and example of a flash flood. Thanks for comment!! Jack
