Love it, both as a musical experience and as visual pleasure. The way the conductor is obviously enjoying himself is just enthralling.

This needs more views! What a lovely performance. The orchestrations are great, and the soloists, which I consider the heart of the work, are very good.
There are plenty of RUclips of this with poor enunciation, and these folks, presumably not native English speakers, are crystal clear.
You all should be proud of this performance.

Beautiful warm sound and perfect balance of the vocal and instrumental lines! I think this is due to great musicianship, an expert sound engineer, and the intimate acoustics of the venue. A marvelously touching rendition! Bravo conductor, singers, and instrumentalists!😊 Thank you!🎼🎻🎹🎵

A beautiful performance for sure! I love watching the musicians as they are clearly enjoying themselves. More orchestras should allow musicians to stand and express themselves. Whenever I see a performance of the Messiah, my heartfelt concern is for the many who perform this and never give a second thought to the Person they are singing about. This is poetic, certainly, but it’s not poetry. It’s real prophecy about a real Person, who really lived and really suffered and really died for our transgressions, upon whom God really laid all of our sins before He really was cut off out of the land of the living, who really did rise from the dead, really did ascend to heaven, really was welcomed as Victor into heaven and really is seated at the right hand of God. How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace. Here is the gospel: Jesus Christ died for sinners. Repent and believe in Him, and you will be saved from sin and from the wrath to come. And when that trumpet sounds, and sound it will, you will be raised and your body, though now corruptible, will be changed into a body like unto His glorious body. Then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: death where is your sting? Grace where is your victory? Those who are in Christ Jesus will have the victory.

Yes the individual clips by the same choir at a different venue are of a much higher quality.
