We pvp on eternal,and its fun!i hope after s1 ends,players that wont bother on lvlup again and enjoy pvp,will stick to eternal.We gather outside the gates,players and names are starting to get known,and its quite fun.More fun than doing nmds over and over.I also hope that blizz will boost somehow necros and druids in pvp,cause right now its all rogues and barbs,and little bit of sorc.Firewall sorc might be the best pvp class/build right now,but for some reason we dont see it often on eternal.
Actually I greatly doubt the caps mentioned in the video, even they are soft ones. how could vul dmg cap at 20% while the tournament firewall sorc winner using a 60%x vul damge on it's two hand stuff along with vul dmg glyphs in parag board? How did you have a 150% crit dmg cap while winner' sorc's burning instinct lengdary node can benifit from crit dmg and givs you up to 800% bonus burning dmg? I did observe(and **** bielieved) there are few links on google mentioned these caps, but the sources are really suspicious without giving any solid stats or testing evidence or even mentioned the class they are refering to. And even a soft cap I do beilieve there is a huge diff between classes. Anyway thanks for sharing the video, good discussion though.
I played pvp with a lvl 60 Druid in teir 3 for the season challenge, I died a lot but it was fun! Running from the OP builds after I hit them and run for town while they chase, the mosquito technique lol. I got my challenges done (finally found someone I could kill) and got out of there. lvl 85 now so I’m right where I was in teir 3. The mosquito will be buzzing around, fight then flight with earthen might! You can swat me if you can catch me, thanks for the video!
vulnerable dmg isnt capped at 20% rofl who writed that. more like 200/250. crit dmg cap around 150bconsidering crit dmg on green gems also. dr its impossible to say it cap at 45% bcz of conditional dr like while healty, on fortified, vs bleeding target, vs vuln. target, close and so on. I got 49 close dr and i can clearly see other dr i mentioned all stacks and arent worthless. very misleading video
Crit damage is capped at 200% including base 50%. This includes emeralds in weapon since all those different types of crit dmg go into the same bucker. Yeah all the DR types do stack but going beyond 50% is a waste of affixes.
Vuln is capped at 20% unless you are talking about DoT, which is uncapped. Crit is diminishing at 150 & largely diminishing at 200 - a long term meta was to aim for 220-240. And it's effective DR (that is the value your tooltip displays), that is diminishing at 40 (for both DR+CondDR) Kind of weird to call stuff misleading when your own data is wrong, or you did not understand what he was talking about

@@anitaremenarova6662 I'm unsure about barb, to be honest, but I believe you can get thorns & bleed stack somewhat uncapped, considering it's DoT. There's also a nasty bug with a heart & thorns around rn

Hey I'm about to buy this game(pc) from steam soon. The main reason wanna buy this for pvp, can u tell me how long it takes to start a pvp battle?(average) or, is the pvp dead? coz i played poe and the pvp is dead there.
There is an area of the game where it has open pvp. So there aren't set battles that you can queue for and pvp is somewhat random. Pvp has slowed down due to the end of season but I wouldn't say it's dead. There are still pvp tournaments to sign up for and active pvp clans. I recommend looking into them if you want pvp on demand.
The last few days I’ve duelled other level 100 players and done literally zero damage. Maybe they’re rocking trinkets and incense and I just don’t bother as I’m too casual. Prior to that I’d rarely lose as a poison TB rogue
A lot of the pvpers right now are high geared players with very well optimized builds. If you want to beat those players then you will have to perfect your build. Most of them wont be using stuff like incenses because they will save them for tournaments.
@@Nihjanix I myself are highly geared and I thought pretty perfectly optimised. The players I mentioned- Druid, took no damage at all and slowly killed me. The rogue 1-2 shotted me and I did no damage 😅
@@XO.Clinic there is a lot of cheaters pvping using network tampering software/ devices. watch the tourneys on Fridays and most of those so called top players are 100% cheating
@nihjanix So because of the critical strike damage cap in PVP does that make Bone Necros in pvp way less viable because of their builds being mostly focused around criting and high amounts of crit dmg in builds? just curious
@Nihjanix if I have 150 crit damage and another 150 crit damage with bone. Does that make me way over the cap or there is no bone crit damage cap and it's in its own bucket?

Joining a clan or having pvp friends helps a lot. Not only can you duel with them but they can also invite you to the busy layers.

Any tips to fight one tap grifter rogues using the poison one tap exploit with barbarian ?
I've seen barbarians out heal the poison by spending fury. I main necro so I'm not entirely sure how that mechanic works.
Stack different damage reduction types and max life. Moevement speed is also good so you can run away while it ticks down.

It can still work if you run deathless visage and other affixes instead of crit dmg. Not as strong as shadow necro but still decently strong.
Does elixir of death evasion work in the pvp zones?
I don't personally play HC, so I can't say as I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else can answer. 😓

Necro is very gear dependent, if you build it right then necros can actually be pretty tanky!

I found the post, but couldn't find a confirmation. Take it with a grain of salt.

If it's hard to calculate, just get somewhere between 45%-50% including all conditional damage reduction.

pvp is only for 300 hrs a week player base
