    Great review thank you! Thinking about leasing this one. So that helps, Range is really good on this one.

      Well I have 3.2 now and the next update is 3.5... so 8.5 sound a bit wrong.

    Can someone please reply me on this, the Ix50 in my country doesn't come with air suspension,it comes with normal suspension like the ix40, I heard people saying the ix40 is very comfortable to drive and the ix50 is even a alittle more comfortable BUT I heard the ix50 with normal suspension is stiff because the car is heavier + the ix50 2024 comes with normal suspension even in Germany. But they are planning to bring back the air suspension because of customer complaints. Kindly reply as am planning to buy one.

    is it not because you are in efficiency mode that the seat heating is less?

      Even better, this thing warms your arms and solid insulation. My Model X leaks air at high speed and you can feel it. Heating is very subpar compared to bmw

    I still find it dumb that you have to go into an embedded menu in the infotainment system to adjust the distance of the car infront of you. Not safe at all. Still think they should just leave the control on the steering wheel

    Nice car but you start to laugh when after paying around a 100 thousand dollars - you have to pay 350 dollars extra for heated steering?😂 and extra and extra for this and that😢 I realize why Tesla is such a great succés 😊

    Is this really the state of the German car industry now 100k euro plus cars leased to 5km per year for the cost of a mortgage payment. No wonder the Chinese will decimate the German manufacturers

      I don"t understand the hate towards this iX. It's not an SUV, I see it more as a large stationwagon that sits a bit higher. It's special design, but to call it ugly is a bridge too far. I've learnt that most people who call it ugly, do it because it doesn't look like any other BMW. I don't find the Mercedes EV's "ugly", but this design is a bit more interesting.
      For the iX, a lot depends on what colour combinations you pick. It either emphasizes the grill or not.

    • @kevinn1158
      @kevinn1158 11 месяцев назад

      @@caleidoo I don’t care about what people think a BMW should look like. This design is disjointed… a mess full of design experiments that just don’t work. It looks like 4 or 5 cars hobbled together and result is very heavy handed. Dumpy is the word that keeps coming to mind.

    just for history, 2008. first "modern" ev the Tesla Roadster was produced, followed by Mitsubishi I-Miev (Citroen and Peugeot) in 2009.... soooo now its 2023, literally 15 years since EV's came to disrupt the ICE transportation

    • @caleidoo
      @caleidoo 11 месяцев назад +1

      EV's are not disrupting the ICE market. The government is, by subsidizing EV's and punishing people who own a ICE - no matter how small or clean it is or how few times they use it.
      The majority of EV's on the road are not bought by actual people but by companies, to get the tax cuts.
