  • Melnet tune of the month February 2015
A French or possibly Cajun waltz.
I felt like adding a bit of extra instrumental harmony to this very simple tune, so I invented a cello part.
Played on a Dino Baffetti/ Binci G/C three voice melodeon from the Music Room.
    Anahata - melodeon and cello.

Your playing is magic !! I am learning so much from you and I invested in a Dino Baffetti G/C and a D/G which makes a hell of a difference ! Thanks !!

I'm currently trying to learn this on a D/G Hohner, but am finding it hard to get the music sheet which explains how best to cross the rows, I can read music so am figuring it out on my own, do are you able to write down which buttons you use and what row, or will this not work as I have read you are using a G/C?
    You play really beautifully,
    Thanks x

Usually D/G players play this tune in E minor, also in the lower octave, so the fingering would be slightly different from what I'm playing. You'd cross rows in the same places though. Bellows change direction only at the bar line, so you should be able to work it out :-)
Maybe look for a RUclips video on a D/G, like

      And... thank you!
