Good list…with one HUGE exception! River Caves should easily be number one…Best dark ride in the UK and the most historically significant dark ride in the WORLD.
Definitely agree that the curse is number 1. After going to Efteling recently it really showed how far behind the UK is with dark rides compared to the rest of Europe...
I know a lot of people hated it but I actually thought Derren Brown's Ghost Train at Thorpe Park was really cool. The VR was working perfectly when I was there though, so that definitely helped haha!
@@ThemeSeekers I've ridden both alton Manor and sub terra and I would personally say sub terra is better, the pre show sets a really nice scene for the ride and slowly builds up to the main part. I won't include any spoilers but there are a lot of great effects in the main room and a short scare maze at the end
Can't Beleive i never went on river caves can't even remember seeing it and I'm 45 so been a few times although 20 years ago when the big one and Valhala were latest attractions

Efteling is espcially home to some amazing ones! A trackless dark ride in the UK would be a great next step

After riding curse on opening weekend and attending the opening of ghost train at Thorpe, GT is definitely the better ride in my opinion 😊
