- Jurassic World Dominion is the final film in the Jurassic World franchise and Universal Studios Hollywood opened Jurassic World: The Ride in 2019. It replaced Jurassic Park in the lower lot and Jurassic World: The Ride is a water-based dark ride with a gut-wrenching drop, themed to the Jurassic World film franchise. The ride features many animatronic dinosaurs including the new Indominus Rex. It replaced Jurassic Park: The Ride, which operated from June 21, 1996, to September 3, 2018, which can still be found today at Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios Orlando. This ride is so much more amazing in person, you really understand just how gigantic the dinosaurs are in person and that drop, that drop was so fun, i went on the ride 5 times in a row
was the drop like big? i’m scared of rollercoasters but my bf wants to go there so i’m trying to compromise🥲🥲
bro idk if its still like this but i waited in line for like 4 hours to get into this when it first came out, and it sucks. ig the spectacle is aight but the ride needs to stop edging me and just go fast
@@lol4097it’s not really that big but in person going down that drop is intense because of how fast it goes down.
@@lol4097the drop is 84 ft tall, but the gravity pushes you into the boat so dont worry.
I absolutely love this ride - I wish they did more with the area that used to have the falling jeep, but they totally made up for it at the end! The finale is nuts!

The Indominus Rex looks absolutely incredible! When I go to Universal for the first time this is going to be one of my priorities
The ending really catches you suprise lol. Its a slow ride the whole way through then BOOM! You go down like 70mph.

Yeah, we loved California Hollywood when we visited from Vancouver BC Canada...If you haven't ever been to Vancouver, you should visit it once in a Lifetime ...They have a lot of nice views and in August they have the P.N.E with lots of rides

I love this ride, it terrifies me to this day, because of my near death experience- I was in single rider with a family of 3, they were taller than me, I was like 4'2 at the time, I don't know how they let me on ngl, and at the drop I almost fell out of my seat- and almost passed out
I love the way the T-Rex distracts who from noticing you’re at the big drop. Adds to the thrill!

I would recommend going to Universal instead, Disney is just hopelessly overpriced at this point. Universal is much better value, so you won't have to save up nearly as much.

Almost 4 years after the opening and they still can’t get the timing of the finale right! Sometimes the T-rex either comes out too early or too late, AND IT STILL HAS THE DAMN FLYING PROBLEM

it looks great, if i have one criticism about the vid though is i wish you moved the camera around a bit more, missed a lot of details keeping it stationary

I absolutely despise this ride purely bc of the drop at the end but when I went to Universals, my facination for animatronics took over and I went on purely to see all the cool new ones. I dont regret it but the drop almost made me cry.
This ride was amazing! I went on it yesterday I was soo sacred at first and I almost flew off my seat at the drop!

I got to go to universal studio for my brother's 8th birthday! I went on That ride then at the end it was insane The boat was zooming down so fast! And everyone was screaming in joyful voices!

Hey I'm early and I never been to Disneyland or Disney world or universal studios
Based on your experience, how big do you think the drop was?
I heard it's probably twice as strong as the drop of the log ride in Knotts Berry Farm but no where nearly as intense as Goliath in six flags
I'm going to Universal Studios in a few days and absolutely cannot wait!!

Ugh, my biggest gripe about this was hiding everything behind a screen. I'm glad islands of adventure in orlando still has the original ride
How is everything hidden behind a screen? Only the one scene under the water incorporates screens. Everything else is either physical sets or animatronics
