    Robert Kraft just wants to be friends with Meek Mill, wear Air Force 1's and be seen as some type of cool grandpa figure. People debate Brady v Bill all the time but one things certain -- Kraft had very little to do with the success of the last 20 years.

      I disagree. He wants to win very badly. Or I’ll just upset because we’re not winning right now, but we are rebuilding to hopefully make something great. Personally, I’m giving it a three-year window. I believe they will be back in the playoffs in three years if they rebuild correctly.

      The guy is shrewd. Bought old Foxboro Stadium when the Sullivans used it as collateral for a Michael Jackson tour that bombed.
      Used the stadium's lease to scare off other owners when the team was put up for sale in the early 90s (also kept them in NE because of said lease).

      @youtubeconnollyfamily I would not say the start of something great. It's too soon to tell. The team was defunctual two years ago and only gotten worse.
      Mayo can succeed if given the support and tools to do so.
      The support being the front office and the tool being talented players.
      If Wolf and Groh brings in talent on offense our Patriots will be fine.

    I think Kraft didn’t bother buying him out because of the backlash and potential stories relating to racial bias that may have turned out if we decided to go in a different direction. Just feels like we got a guy nobody wants but have to stick with because of the color of his skin.

    It sure sounds like Greg’s source about “people being upset with Mayo walking around like he already had the job, was Billy O. It seems painfully obvious, since he also brought up the issue in Houston. Not saying its incorrect, just connecting dotes.

  • @TXRhody

    Spinning it like they had to commit to Mayo because he had a $10M buyout is so dumb. Obviously, the reason Mayo had a $10M buyout is because they were already committed to him. These guys are so stupid and negative.

    • @DSlav2488
      @DSlav2488 7 месяцев назад +1

      But why were they so committed to him? I've LITERALLY never heard of such a thing. I have never in my life known of an organization that had committed to basically a positional coach to be their next HC. They didn't even interview anyone for the position. That's insane. It's also stupid. A $10M buyout for mayo? That's criminal.
