Geek Frost it’s called an opinion, everyone has one and it’s not that I’m purely nostalgic, I mean I like nargacuga and Tigrex’s new themes but when they change it too much it becomes less recognisable as their theme which stay relatively unchanged until now. It’s like if they made another Star Wars film or something and replaced half the notes, it’s not something people aren’t going to complain about. Besides they aren’t that great, the new teostra theme isn’t as rhythmic as the old one, deviljho is still terrifying but compared to the original which is much louder all round as perfectly encapsulates fear, it feels watered down, kushala’s theme suffers with the same issue deviljhos where it’s not as impactful especially since Kush is a bit of a pain to fight in this game tbh. I swear you can’t say anything about world on the Internet without people getting all defensive
ZX Strider yeah it’s really subtle but it is their it’s hard to see probably because of the area being lit if it was in a darker area I’m sure it would be a lot easier to spot
For those who need help finding it: Check the quest description. If it says " mysterious traces have also been spotted(or something like that)," then he'll spawn. He will either replace Rathalos or Anjanath. Check Rath's nest first. If Rathalos is there, then fast travel to area 8.
umigainsborough HAHAHAHAHAHA Man i went trough the same when i was 7. Dudeeeee, i was so scared of Tigrex back then. I wasn’t able to complete that quest for weeks because of that.

9:58 this is what i like to see, Narga being satisfying once you learn to dodge his fast attacks with no evasion equipment. People may say he seems slow, but really i feel its more of the hunter being so much more mobile in mhw that makes every monster feel slow.
Well u have to be disappointed again cos this nargacuga is the shittiest of all the other mh games and its not as nearly hard(fast in this case) as the past games. I hunted mhw nargacuga and then hunted the mhgu nargacuga. There is a NOTICEABLE difficulty differance.
Thanks for this video man it was super helpful I found nargacuga. It was just a matter of patience and then it was go time I lost the mission but I did Kill nargacuga that was a plus I'm so ready for ice-born
Tigrex’s spin is by far its worst move especially if your an insect glaive user, seriously sometimes you get hit sometimes you don’t even when your like 3m away above it. I do hope they fix it but given Capcom’s history with broken hit boxes I doubt they will

Broken hit boxes are low on the pure unfair difficulty scale (for example Plesioth has bad hitboxes in MHFU but isn’t too unfair while a DPS checking, forced multiplayer quest with 3 carts and undodgeable attacks like extreme behemoth is just pure hell) but is anyone going to complain about them removing getting hit by literal air that takes away a third of your health? Like seriously

They made its eye trails smaller when enraged tho, that’s kinda depressing considering how iconic and threatening that was, same thing with Tigrex’s rage mode. Kinda feels like a downgrade especially when combined with its new speed and cat teeth tbh. Oh well, at least he’s in the demo and has a sick theme
Two things, first I agree but second I can see why it's that way. When it came to the HD transformation it seems most of the work came into working out the body rather than small details that had to be emphasized through the older games. Take for example Tigrex; was watching another video and I saw the classic red glow from the veins in his arms when he became enraged, but hadn't noticed the red eyes until that Iceborne video; maybe cause I avoided him a bit in older games :p. That being said, it was a daytime hunt, I haven't seen many others, so it might improve at night.
The hit box tight and move set basically MHFU version. For G-Rank of MH series with ton of hunter skill improvement they should upgrade this Assassin much harder to compensate it. Like high precision attack, cancel hunter mounting, dodge + counter fatal attack with instant cart attack. That would be thrilling

Narga looks so heavy and chunky. Looks like it's been living pretty well in the New World. =P Not a fan of the sounds it makes (needs more of those panther sounds), but it looks glorious! And that little scurry it does looks pretty unnerving.

Some of the attacks of hunting horn are buffed in Iceborne, I saw a vid where some of the swings were faster compared to vanilla MHW. Also hunting horn seems to give a quicker time to roll when playing a buff.
I feel like these monsters are easy because of their hitbox are there actual model, example is 4:40, you should've been hit by that tail slam but it didn't hit you, monster hunter hit boxes confuses me a lot.
It's because there are also little things called i-frames. You know, the point in a dodge where your are invulnerable? Doesn't matter what a hit box is if you can time your dodges right.
We've already seen some of them. They are indeed iron base with scales and spike on them. Maybe they'll change at the final upgrade, but don't hold your breath.
Narga's presence in the New World troubles me, tbh. If it's so far away from the Old World, how can Nargacuga glide that far? (I assume that he can't fly like Barioth, but glide. The blades would trouble his flight.) then again, i Shall quote dear Dr Malcolm:"Life, uh, finds a way."

Idk even in the older games he was still pretty slow. The only time he ever got fast was when he goes into rage mode.

Tigrex's hit box most definitely will be fixed before iceborne release. There's no way they'll let that stay as is in World.
