Aerial Switch Axe was my go-to for the Village Quests in Generations and GenU. It was simple and it was a blast to play, even if Axe mode was virtually useless.
very good fight, I'm starting with the switch axe and I'm watching videos of fights with different styles to find out which would be the best style for this weapon, I'm testing the adept (by dodge time) but this style greatly limits the weapon's moveset , watching this video, I'm going to switch to the aerial style to see if I can adapt better

I like striker for all the arts but valor is p good because it gives u an extra dodge option
