+janna graham Hi Jenna. The only Audi's that uses Haldex is the Audi TT And the Audi A3. Your 2005 has Quattro, this is a Mechanical AWD system. Haldex system is Electric, it has a Clutch that engages power to all 4 wheels for the best tourque ratios.

      Allow me to say.
A1 Sportback 2.0 Turbo Quattro use Haldex system too.

Hello Guys, there is a mode for to control the Haldex of TT Mk3 for get 90% or better of rear torque??? i want a rear traction on snow or wild wet!!!!!!

Ro Fo No. it's impossible to send more than 50% rearwards without the front wheels actually losing traction. All 4 wheels on a surface of equal quality and a 50:50 split is as rear biased as they can physically get. Playing with controllers cannot change that. All playing with controllers can do is change the aggressiveness and duration with which the clutch is activated. If you want rear wheel biased handling, FWD transaxle based Haldex cannot deliver it.

@@richardhoulton4016 needs a different ratio in the rear for more torque distribution to the rear or take out the driveshaft in the front and lock the rear clutch for true rwd.
Other than that, get an lsd for the rear and it will oversteer, even better is a lsd with a lower gear ratio for the rear and you will have a lot of fun that way.

@@PapiAndrey Yep…which is essentially what the Focus RS and GR Yaris do to get RWD bias. The rear axle has a slightly taller ratio than the front axle. This is an interesting solution, but it has to be hard on the driveline, the clutch pack, and tyres! I recently saw a vid of a GR Yaris at the Nurburgring, and after a couple of laps, the clutch pack overheated and the car went into 100% FWD mode. I have some concerns about this overdriven rear axle approach…which is why I didn’t order a Yaris! My new BRZ arrives in Q1/22.

@@richardhoulton4016 yeah that is true, Overheating is definitely an issue and I’d look into some extra measures for cooling if I were to go that route.
I think that’s why the new Golf R and Rs3 only have 50:50 distribution, but I don’t think it needs any more to the rear. It’s an interesting solution and i was surprised you knew about it as well

@@PapiAndrey Not sure about the new Golf-R/S3/RS3. They’re talking about drift modes too.
