In this video, I’m sharing my favorite accessories for the Leica SL3 and explaining why I use them. I’ll start with practical ones, like the extra SP-SCL6 battery and the Leica double battery charger. A hot-shoe cover is another useful accessory to protect your camera’s contacts. I also use a Leica display cover for screen protection. For connectivity, a fast USB-C cable is handy. Moving on to more exciting accessories, I discuss the Leica M to L adapter, which allows you to use M lenses with your SL3, and the new SmallRig camera cage, perfect for video work. I also highlight the comfort of Peak Design straps and the Clever Supply camera belt. Lastly, I recommend the ULH Go Ultimate Lens Hood for shooting through glass without reflections and magnetic filters for ease of use.

Great video. Loved that you promoted other non Leica branded accessories.
The USBC cable just make sure it’s not just PD but that it also can handle data throughput.
I recently picked up a Kastar Double charger for the SLC4 and SLC6 batteries and it works like a charm. Best part? Cost $26 on Amazon.

Hi Florian,
If it's not too much trouble, could you please answer my question? I also have a Leica SL3 with a 24-90 lens. When I turn the lens by the stationary part, it rotates slightly in the mount. Is this normal, or is it just my body?
