The SL2s is good, but the SL3 is special

- Now that I am uploading this I am not sure I would buy it again. It's got some good upgrades but I really cant be sure this is better than my S5IIX. It's better than the SL2S by a long way, but the S5IIX is still the better video beast.

Panasonic Menus are more in depth with more options for fine tuning the camera to your likes. The reason I have Leica besides of the built quality and engineering that goes into their cameras are the streamlined menu system. Make it as simple to use and take the shot. S5IIX &S5II are great cameras and much cheaper than the Leica SL2-S that I own also but I enjoy playing with this camera more because it isn't as complicated using it and brings back memories of when I was younger and times were much simpler. Congratulations! The SL3 is sold out here in the. US already. It seems I am going to have to wait a year before I can get my hands on one. Cheers!
Yeah I have the S5IIX and I do struggle a little with the menu! In my case it may just be an age thing! Hope you get your SL3 soon mate.

I have been using the SL2 since it was released. I have been using ghee SL3 now since it was released. I was able to receive my SL3 Friday, The day after it was released.I find the SL3 to be major upgrade in so many ways.
The SL2-S has the Swipe to video. But I would agree that the SL2S feels more premium than the SL3 in many regards.

If one can’t make great images using the Sl2-s , the sl3 is not going to help. Put the money into education and experiences!!!
Ha almost true! I can make good images with either. But for the type of detail I look for in my photos, the 24mp sensor on the SL2 won’t cut it! Sure you can use multi shot but that’s not in handheld.
