- Hailing the announcement of the ambitious India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) as a "major news" for Israelis, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the "largest cooperation project in our history" will change the face of the Middle East, Israel, and will benefit the entire world. The new economic corridor, which many see as an alternative to China's controversial Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), was jointly announced on Saturday by the leaders of the US, India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Italy and the European Union on the sidelines of the G20 summit in New Delhi.

India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor will be one of the most stable trading route with additional renewable energy initiative under "One Sun, One World, One Grid". This is going to start a new era of peace with mutual prosperity and this will just connect one nation to another.
It will be a dead line ... thre will be hardly enough traffic to sustain it unlike from China.
Another which country is willing to finance the projects that will not bring profits.

Wow..this is quite interesting here.. Israel at the UN admiring India Middle East Europe corridor with pictorially ... fine enough...BUT... surprisingly the map does not include India in there.. He settles it by calling it Asia rather than India.. even he has to start the joining line from middle of the sea..Hehe.. the map ends almost where territory of Kashmir starts.. Is it why because they wanted to refrain from showing what exactly they think about and where they stand on dispute of Kashmir through that map. INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS is a thing.

The question who going to finance it? US? Issue more treasuries debt? Non of these countries are good of building large scale infra even in US . The airport and road looks like in 80s/ 90s. Might as well spent building infra in US.
The thing is... the infrastructure is already built.
Mumbai port exists. Jebel Ali port (UAE) exists. UAE-Saudi railways exist. Israel Railways exist. Haifa & Ashdod ports (Israel) exist. European ports and railways obviously exist.
The only thing that needs to be built is the Jordanian section connecting Saudi Arabia to Israel, but this is a relatively small section that can be built quickly.
