Palki, you're really a mouthpiece for the Dark Empire. The North-South Corridor is almost finished, you're dismissing it outright as if it isn't because your so-called New Spice Route was designed by the declining Western powers to arrest the propaganda value of the North-South Corridor which has recently just included Saudi Arabia as the other node besides India. The US has copied the BRI 3x but they all flopped. After the initial optics of that New Spice Route, it will flop likewise, simply because the US can't even get its recent major infra revival projects done

Throughout history, there have been instances of Tukey acting cruelly towards Bharat (India). They have demonstrated acts of cruelty and jealousy, which resulted in the destruction of the renowned Nalanda University library, not once but three times. Although Chengis Khan was able to defeat them at some point. In recent history, they have opposed anything that India was involved in. For instance, they allied with Pakistan, which was responsible for countless murders, during the War against Pakistan in 1971. Furthermore, they strongly opposed a decision taken by Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh. Turkey's animosity towards India has been displayed openly throughout history, and this instance is no exception to that.

The decision about the new trade corridor is impractical. The Turkish view is more practical. In fact the best opening for India is through Pakistan. At some point in time in future, India will have NO CHOICE but to have good relations with Pakistan, because Pakistan is the doorway to India. India also need to have good relations with China not as a competitor but as a partner/neighbor to become a global player.

If the imec trade route is cheapest why route it through failed states ?

One month after this Corridor is proposed, we are NOW in Middle East conflict. It proves ONCE AGAIN, TALKING IS CHEAP, DOING IS EVERYTHING. If you just want to create a talking point and do not care of consequences, OF COURSE you could come up with a trade route through sea, through Isreal, through Jordan, through Saudia Arabia Desert, through UAE, through Hormuz Strai under Iran watch, and send them through a ship into India.
IT IS A JOKE but AS LONG AS IT IS JUST TALKING NOBODY CARES!
If India has a REMOTE INCLINATION to make this EU-India Corridor happen, it will really examine and analyze the political, geographical and technological problems with this proposal. BUT GIVEN IT IS JUST TALK, IT DOES NOT MATTER!

I have huge respect and love for the incredible, significant achievement of Dr. Shashi Tharoor's captivating book *How British looted 45 trillion from India* which unquestionably stands as a masterpiece of the highest quality. The content of the book is truly awe-inspiring, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The dedication and hard work poured into the book are greatly appreciated by many, he is the true hero in our story. Additionally, the Union Public Service Commission has delivered a remarkable report titled संघ लोक सेवा आयोग *How Britishers killed 1.8 billion Indians. Chronology of British Raj's exploitative policies* | UPSC," which is equally astounding. The commission consistently produces insightful and thought-provoking articles of the utmost caliber, and I sincerely hope they continue to produce such exceptional work.

The 45 trillion dollars that were taken mainly consist of natural resources. If you look at India's current mineral deposits, most are completely depleted (that's why India imports their minerals instead of producing them themselves; they have nothing left). The British forced Indians to mine and carry those minerals and resources to the sea port so they could be sent back to England every single day for 200 years. The U.S. and U.K. infrastructure was pretty much built from not only India's natural minerals but also India's blood, sweat, and even lives (countless Indians died working in the mines all day with less than a portion of grain in their stomachs).

Items such as coal, iron ore, timber, cotton, and other natural resources are brought to the ports every day for the British to ship home to use in their factories.
Coal and iron ore can produce steel, which, along with wood, can be used to build houses, large buildings, halls, subways, trains, and factories. Iron ore can be used to build cars, machinery, weapons, ships, and jets. Both the U.K. and U.S. 1st and 2nd industrial revolutions were built with India's funds and India's free labour.

1.8 Billion makes sense. India today on average loses 10 million people per year due to natural cause or illness. So in 200 years they would lose 10million x 200 years = 2 billion people. Imagine 1757 - 1947 times when India didn't have any healthcare like today and life expectancy was much much shorter with mass malnourish (Bengal Famine + 63 other major famines) and were forced to work to their very bones losing their lives in the process.

The British also made Indians work in agricultural and then transport all the crops to the UK.
they would rather have food rot in the UK than preventing the tens of millions that starved to death.

China is a great investor and initiator. Like you said China invests their own money and is also good at making projects successful.
Calling it a debt trap makes China worse than the West.
India must guard against this sudden cooperation and interest from the West. They are up to no good. The hopeless US and its allies doing everything possible to keep their hegemony

Nobody should ever trust a regime that treats part of its population as replacement parts. Maybe if China became a democracy, but not now until their current regime is replaced.

For India the BEST way to access markets in the WEST, CENTRAL ASIA, CAUCUS and RUSSIA is via Pakistan which will open the northern route through Afghanistan and southern through Iran. India can also get its OIL and GAS too from Iran, Russia and Turkmenistan. India can import wheat and fertilizer from Russia and export its commodities to all over this geographical area. Indian leadership need to be pragmatic and if you want to become a global leader then you have to act and think like that. Today the Indian thinking is mostly rooted through Washington and London.
