The west slope of Tacoma is nice but, homes cost a great deal. North Tacoma is nice too. The Hilltop is in transition. East Tacoma still sucks with crime. South Tacoma is more low income. Parkland and Spanaway are growing suburbs in the County.

If you're looking to make a move to Tacoma and you are a bit more well off than most, consider University Place or Fircrest. You won't regret it!

Allot cheaper cost of living& allot lower taxes. Anyplace not ran by mail in voting Democrats are safer, cleaner, lower crime&lower taxes. Won't pass taxes& bills without the vote of the people and won't change that tax to something else because they got the money they wanted already but will still tax you for something they decide they want the money for

Tacoma and UP,Lakewood , stelicoom. Used to be alright 15-20 years ago. If you wanna know what the neighborhoods look like Google map street view works. And yeah it sucks here. Crime is out of control the drug problem is ridiculous. The cost of living is a crime in its self. Plus people are rude. And the gang problem is getting wild again. UP and stelicoom is nice tho. Fircrest is alright. I wouldn't recommend moving here here tho. I'm from Tacoma and I want out lol. Southern Oregon is super nice

I was born in WA in 1969& still here but moved NE. I recently found out WA was a purple state since it's start until 1982 when they started mail in voting& Dominion vote counting machines. It was 50/50 Republican&Democrat elections for President and Gov every year until mail in voting. Not Voting Republican once since. The man who made the Dominion Voting Machines said that the West Coast has had their elections stolen for decades we were the testing states and WA state is really a Red state. That all makes since considering only Seattle likes Democrats and were allot larger than just Seattle. Less than 40% of voters even voted last March because we know our votes don't count but we must all come out in full force in Nov because they won't count on it& won't be prepared like in 2016 when Clinton was suppose to win. Another video was in a courtroom and a computer software expert said he was hired by someone in gov to make sure a different election was stolen and he said how easy it was to add votes so the person won by 1.5% I think it was in the 80s or 90s. If they think only 40% of WA votes they will only add enough to cover that but if we can get everyone to come out they won't be prepared. I've lived here my whole life I've seen what's happened since 1982 mail in voting and it just gets worse

First realize WA was a purple state 50/50% for both Republicans and Democrats from its statehood until mail in voting started in 1982 WA has been blue 100% ever since. Ever since then it's turned to crap worse every yr I was born here in 1969 so I've seen the changes. Our taxes&cost of living is in the top of the country but the cities are one of the worst they are getting just as bad as every other democratic run state. So stay out of the cities. I live about 50miles NE of Seattle in a ruel area in a gated community that we all have at least an acre of land. If you want to move to WA either move up Northern WA or Down Southern WA or Eastern WA. Look up crime, taxes, cost of living, cost of homes, jobs eetc.Know that Western WA is more like a rainforest and Eastern WA is more desert like across the mountains. Eastern WA is drier& hotter in summer and cooler& snowier in winter. You should probably think of private or homeschooling. It doesn't rain every day like people say but it usually drizzles/sprinkles for hours rather than pour for a few minutes. Our gas is almost $6. I bought my home in 2014 for 460k it's now 1.25M so home costs are expensive in Western WA Eastern WA is cheaper. However lookup The Handford Waste Site in the middle of the state. It's the largest nuclear dump in the world & it's seeping in the ground and into the largest river the Columbia River It's has millions of pounds of nuclear&radiation waste brought from all over the world. For some reason our "Green" Gov & President never say a word about it being the largest in the world

After mail in voting it's been 100% Blue Democrat not once voting Republican since Mail in Voting started. With Democrat control we have been taxed as one of the highest in the nation. Cost of living one of highest in nation. However our cities have turned to crap. I don't even go to Seattle&Tacoma anymore they are like all other Democratic cities Not safe& crap urine used needles on sidewalks, addicts accosting you for money, robberies, shootings, shoplifting so businesses are leaving ect. I moved away from Seattle/Tacoma up North close to Marysville but still not in the city. I live in a rural area in the middle of wilderness by a lake in a gated community. Not only do your research but actually go to the different areas. Don't move into the cities and go more North past Seattle or South past Tacoma or go East the weather is hotter/drier in the summer and colder with more snow in winter.

Western WA and Eastern WA is separated by the mountains and they are like two different states. Western WA is more like a rainforest and Eastern is more like a dessert. Western WA is cooler& wetter Eastern is drier and hotter except in winter it's colder and snows more. The Democrats took over in 1982 when they started mail in voting& Dominion computer ballot counting. Since 1982 WA turned from a Purple state to a Blue state never having a Republican win again for Gov President and most offices. That hasafe WA one of the top highest taxes and cost of living in the nation and same time our cities have turned into all other democratic cities filled with crime addicts drugs shootings feces urine used needles on sidewalks etc it gets worse every year. The Gov had emergency power during COVID longer than any other in the nation and he passed texes and bills the voters rejected over and over. Most of WA voters hate the Democrats but Mail in Voting since 1982 has made it impossible to vote them out. So many people don't believe our votes count less than 40% even voted earlier this yr. The Squad JayaPal loses every election Tues but finds the magical late mailed in ballots to win the Friday afterwards. Inslee ran for president in 2020 but couldn't even get 1% because the voters can't stand him in WA which should of showed the world about mail in voting and dominion voting machines because he couldn't even get WA to vote him into running for president because we know he's stupid& a liar. He sold our trees to China during the wood shortage saying he was helping to stop forest fires by selling our good trees not cleaning up the dead& why is he selling our wood to China when we have a shortage and where's the money? He also brought apples from his home in Western WA to Eastern WA when everyone's knows it's illegal to bring fruit& veg from/to Eastern WA there's even freaking signs on the highways. He also played dumb during the Summer of 2020 called CHOP take over of Seattle blocks including burning down a police station and having gang members with machine guns extorting money from business owners and home owners people were killed rapped assaulted businesses and property destroyed Patty Murray said it was a summer of love and Inslee said he didn't know anything about it when they had control for a month and was all over the news. So definitely think twice before moving here and stay out of the cities
