You should contrast Riverview/West Hill against East Hill/Scenic Hill in another segment. I live in Riverview and the West Side of Kent Valley is still evolving. Especially when the light rail is complete.

@@livingintacomawashington We moved from there 3 years ago because of high taxes, high crime, mass traffic, homeless drug addicts taking over some parks and along parts of Green River. Only thing I miss is convenience to shopping. Costco, Home Depot, Trader Joes (on east hill),. good restaurants etc. Within 10 years we had 2 newer cars totaled by intoxicated drivers without license and insurance.

​@@consv Lived there since 1998 and noticed the changes. Seattle's problems definitely worked it's way down into the valley near downtown. Many job opportunities in the valley with shopping and entertainment, but not as safe as it once was. Public schools are also in need of help.

@@20tea Also when Seattle's poorer areas started to gentrify the sketchy residents tended to relocate to places like Kent.
