The reason you want the oem cap is because when you use the napa/wix filter it comes with its own cap so you throw the oem one away then when you get smart and buy a Ford filter it only comes with the filter so ya spend 20 minutes fighting off the napa one and manage to pop the shorter ford one and then it bypassed the oil right back to the pan and the upper valve trane and turbo gets starved of oil and burn up......
