hey Clayton, I showed my uncle the ol' f150 and he said and I quote "Ford was going to do something like that in the nineties but Dodge threatened to pull their contract with Cummins so Cummins backed out of the negotiations with Ford, rumors were doing around about a 4BT (8-Valve 4 banger) in the F150's and F350- F-SuperDuty's could have the option of a 12 valve. as well as keeping the International built 7.3 IDI and 7.3 Powerstroke turbo diesel. if dodge hadn't gotten their panties in a wad and cummins grew some balls ford and dodge would have owned the market." and I think International did its fair share of bitching too. although they dont build engines for ford anymore.
by the way my uncle has about 11 7.3 obs fords in various states of Whistlin levels of destruction, just able to re-build them.

Theres an adapter for your EGT probe.. probably still in old manifold. Screw it into o e of those 1/8" ports and route your probe under the coolant lines. Maybe it's long enough

haveing the down pipe off on your first test is allowing the hot exhaust gas to escape faster also will result in a lower egt because 10 inchs from the sensor its venting out out the loose clamp at the down pipe

This mans luck with grilles 😂😂😂. The first one got taken out by a chevy, the second by a deer! Also a heads up: I would steer clear of MICTUNING lights. I had a lightbar that got moisture in it and the bluetooth module lost all connectivity. The customer service was great but the quality is lacking. Not sure they make RGB but i would spend the extra on CREE or Rigid type. I have had decent luck with my cheap o eBay lights, but i run pure white.
