Stood outside in the snow from 8am-12pm to get one of the 10 tickets left at the door for that night. Amazing memory, amazing set
I never heard his voice so good and well controlled, honestly. He sounds like he's had some vocal training. Panda Bear is wonderful.
Amazing, emotional, fantastic, originaI. I love panda bear. One of the best artists of our generation. Thank you Noah.
I am overjoyed that MoMA made this set happen. A true artistic production displayed in its correct setting.
+Martin Rosenberg exactly!
He always looks so focused during a set; a polar opposite to Avey
That's what makes AnCo work so well

Thank you
Panda is so kind and makes such interesting music! 😊
But he evil
Panda Bear is the best.
Yeah this version of You Can Count On Me is a straight up tearjerker. Seriously so beautiful
Damn, Noah fucking killed it! Love him so much. The feeling that underlies Tropic of Cancer is quite overpowering, he almost starts to cry. His voice is great, but it benefits the most from screaming slightly.
pandaaaa ❤️❤️❤️
I really hope he's okay.
Thanks God for giving us Panda Bear!!
thx for sp3
This version of You Can Count On Me is so sick.
Panda Bear - excellent - new to me, and I love it on first listen!
This version of Tropic Of Cancer is amazing. Thank you for uploading
Tears around 20:33 when "You Can Count on Me" hits.

I have that sweater and can confirm, it is comfy!
maybe its nautica
@@Auroron where can i buy it
Go get the courage to do what's right...buy it
the most beautiful music
love it! he did a great job considering the circumstances. wish his voice was louder!
PANDA BEAR IS TRANSCENDENT FUTURISTIC NEXT DIMENSIONAL SOUND
FAX
I saw him live, he only played Crosswords from Grim Reaper--- I was hoping for sequential circuits too, such an epic and powerful song cranked up high on vinyl, would be amazing live!
Grim Reaper's a true masterpiece imvho
I freaking love panda bear. I love in "Surfers Hymn" how there's just a fuckin' sample of a car. Who the fuck puts a car sample in a song about a surfing metaphor? He was probably sitting there high making music, and was like "this song needs a car sound".
+magicalwizard99 nice observations
always to have a good time ... stay melt :)
thank you so much Boiler Room
Out of 59k views, I feel I count for too many of them. I've been listening to this at least once a day for the past month and been falling asleep to it for even longer. Only other current "album" I've replayed as much has been Flying Lotus's "Live at the BBC" session.
+seign so you mean youve been listening to this for over 80 years
+Melmagic Spell wat..?
+Melmagic Spell I think you've done your math wrong.
Im a cohomology professor with a Phd in spectral coefficients. So to account for most of 59K views means you have been listening to this (whatever it was I have forgotten) for many years. I was born early on so I have very grey hair I dont take care of and a wandering mind. Please I apologise for my rather cranky approach but you simply must respect my authority, and my Uncle Do.
Boys Latin is just the shit. It's genuinely religious for me, but with zero baggage.
honestly don't like it too much cause I'll I hear is the vocal sample after he sings every word
panda bear and animal collective really is spiritual music when you really listen to the lyrics
@@defoperator7993 Totally agree
Listening in, this set flew right by. Despite the annoying feedback issues, i loved this.
ALL of the beats for this era are so damn catchy and fun. i think they translate better in a live setting, especially butcher baker and come to your senses.
shouts out to the Panda Bear. this set killed and thrilled.
I love this show
this is heavenly
23:07 holy shit
Stoked to see him next week in Phoenix!
Robert Bitsilly how was it
magicalwizard99
It was a radical show! I enjoyed.
How was it bro?
It's sad that the synthed out THX outro of Selfish Gene isn't on the record. That's such an awesome way to end things
I wish you could hear his higher register vocals more on on the record on that last section of the song! I love that melody. Also, I would like the toy that slows the song down like. I believe its the Octatrak.
Straight up talent
Omg someone who knows hows to record a good video. Every Panda Bear live recordings sound like shit wow ty finally.
comforting
why would anyone dislike this?
soo goood
That Surfer's Hymn finale, though...
This show was so cold and unfeeling. It was the vibe in the tent with all the industry. So different in person from the recorded experience!
The vibe in the tent?
love it
1:06:59 Casually walks away after playing and singing like an angel 👼
Boys Latin is a dream, god, I love that song so bad...
He's beautiful
Good google assistant 😮
why is he going in completely dry? he needed some lube on those vox.
weed
+Sam_Dungus Also mixed like shit.
do you know how hard it is to mix live recordings?
Nophera yeah it's extremely ignorant most of the time a listener complains about something to do with a live performance. i'm not saying Sam_Dungus made a shitty comment here but damn it's annoying as hell when people try to criticize for something they have no accurate comprehension of. most shows i attend i find myself annoyed by some pissy comment i over hear. for example i just saw Peter Murphy (Bauhaus) recently and heard somebody say how 'pretentious' he is. everyone should think about that term a lot more before they keep throwing it out there. or maybe everyone should simply think more lol. peace people
The place probably had too much natural reverberation so he had to take the effect down. The recording comes direct from the mixer so you can't hear it as the people who was there.
AAAAAH esto es hermosooo!!!! Gran genio Panda Bear
this show is at the MOMA and they couldnt sprung for a half decent sound engineer? the feedback is ridiculous!
They also really messed up the mixing with the vocals on "Boys Latin". Drop the sample volume and compression, man!
It's not even just the feedback; they didn't do what they should have done and use only the soundboard mix (at least on this video). There's a clear shift in volume and clarity when the camera cuts between the stage shots and the wide angle soundboard shot, which tells me they used different audio sources between the two for some inexplicable reason.
kinda digging this post Sanz Brian Wilson, and embracing the Noah Lennox style.. just saying.. a beautiful raw slab, with endless potential. carry on sir...
grazie noah
still get goosebumps everytime I hear that drop in faces in the crowd :,)
Woot!
anyone notice he looks like Jo-Jo from Horton Hears a Hoo
yes
lmao
I think he looks like Sean Lennon
The way Crosswords starts and forms is the shit
panda love all day erryday
Say something nice
13:08 does anyone else get Paul McCartney performance vibes?
Nothing from Person Pitch? What a cool dude!
Just wish the camera was stationary so we could see the Danny Perez visuals from beginning to end..... fuckin camera
That sample @ 49:58 is amazing! Anyone know what its from?
holy shit I completely slept on this album, he's reignited my interest. thank god.. AC was getting a little meh... love still till the end. hail Mr Lennox!!
You know you can count on me
58:20 dat beat drop tho
Faces in the crowd!
So stoned 8:06
Anyone know what gear he's using there ?
I'm pretty sure he's using an Elektron Octatrack and some effects boxes.
Richard Compton cheers !
Richard Compton 2 OT

In the boxset comes the complete gear
how the fuck does he do it
is that an Octatrak? 18:13

Pretty bitchen Boy's version
Difficult to compare this to any other music I’ve heard. Needs its own category
Feeling so stupid to have missed his shows twice... 🤦🏼♂️
57:24 lol
the projections content is questionable though
Si los 13trh floro elevators, levantaran la cabeza,,,
Qué?
not really within usual boiler room parameters. live i know, but not the same feel. where are the hipsters. if you read the comments its usually all about the hipsters. and awkward dancing. what is a hipster?...;)
sequential sircuits doesn't really work without the backing vocals

COME ON PEOPLE, IT'S SO FUCKIN LAME :DDDDD
#superlame
I really like Animal Collective and his records but this sounds awful live ...
In my opinion this sounds times better here than on the record.
Jeff Lebowski then you should download a proper version of his records, dude ;-)
Jeff Lebowski Well that's just like your opinion man
No ones mentioning that his name isn't animal collective. It's panda bear. So I wouldn't really trust someone that isn't a real fan anyway. He could get up on stage and fart into the microphone and walk away, and id be like... "that was genius." Crosswords is a great song. This gets better as it goes on. It sounds like he may be missing his chorus vocal pedal or something, though. So I would prefer the album version tbh.
sfuture08 farty fanboy :-)
That's horrible.
this is awful
-ly good
