  • Talking With Emma Willis About Style For Soldiers
In this video the British dapper talks to Emma Willis MBE in a rare interview to discuss Style For Soldiers, a charity she created to help injured veterans returning to civilian life.
She talks about how she started by making bespoke shirts for them, how other companies such as Marks & Spencer's who have given over 750 suits, Lock & Co have given 100's of hats, Reiss give suits and gifts for partners, Russell & Bromley over 250 shoes and Burberry gave 200 Trench coats and scarves.
Emma has also designed a black ebony walking stick for those who need one, with a silver collar engraved with regiment and initials, which the charity also provides.
Emma is a well established shirtmaker/designer with her shop situated on Jermyn Street where she greets customers from all around the world, providing that unique and bespoke service to get the personalised fit. Despite this, at the time of speaking to her she and her team were busy organising this years summer dinner.
We hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to share with your friends and people you feel might benefit from its content.

A wonderful interview, Chris. Our service veterans, and especially those who have suffered life changing combat injuries, need and deserve all the help they can get. How appropriate that you, an army veteran yourself, should interview Emma about her truly outstanding charitable work that she has been devoting so much of her time and resources to in such an understated way. What a diamond of a lady!

Hi John, glad you enjoyed the video. A very worthwhile cause indeed and Emma does invest a significant amount of time into not only running events for the veterans, but also fund raising events - as you state john - a diamond lady🙂👍

It's really interesting to see how your channel is developing with this interviews Chris. This topic is heart warming. I can imagine you doing interviews in the English landscape about style and utility etc. Best regards from Amsterdam.

Glad you enjoyed the video Ron. It is a worthy cause and she works hard at this, as she said there are some 500 names on her list of injured veterans, and with ongoing world conflicts this number will continue to increase. she also spends a significant amount of time fund raising for the charity and the events. I agree Ron a noble cause👍🙂
