HAPPY HACKING.
Epic channel!
😂
Hey guys .. ❤️what u doing here . But I just have a small issue . I can't see clearly what you are plugged too... I mean maybe it's my phone(OnePlus 8pro) but idk..
Sweet vid!
Do you know if this would work for the Anza model?
Here to support. Thanks man. Can't wait to see want this channel becomes. I own a few of these kinds of bikes/mopeds, even an evoke electric motorcycle here in Socal, and I've been meaning to learn how to become an electric motorcycle tech, so the extra info helps 👍
Thanks for the feedback and kind words Nemo. Sorry this comment is late. I'm in LA. Wouldn't mind checking out the Evoke sometime and maybe doing a video on it. I have tons of knowledge to share with you as well if you're interested in electric motorcycles.
Just picked up a Gen 7. Thanks for the video will be doing this on mine asap and patiently waiting for the sprocket upgrade video to drop.
Must. learn. more. Also , expecting a monday motorbike anza to be delivered soon. Think this trick could work for it too?
Hey Michael. Not sure what the Anza has inside. Probably uses an even cheaper, more generic motor controller since it has less power requirements than a Gen7. If that is the case, it is less likely to have any adjustable settings.
So if I step down the rear sprocket to a 52 tooth I'm guessing that this adjustment will compensate the torque that will be lost from the sprocket change, correct?
It will increase your torque, to offset some of what you lose through the gearing change yes. But it may not compensate for all torque that is lost.
Where are you located, I need a guy like you to help me with my solar in the trailer I live in!
Would be great to see if you could hack a Super Soco TC
I need to find one..I'd be interested in hacking it.
I was waiting for this, waiting to for you to get your hands on one. Saw your previous video about this bike and it's components 😎
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! Got more content coming, I've just had to get back into the swing of things. When you edit, produce the music, and all of the material it takes some time so I am trying to figure out how to be more efficient with it. Any video ideas you'd like to see in the future ?
Are you guys planning on getting a new custom battery for the gen 7? Bummer you can't raise top speed through the Kelly controller. How about a cover or shroud for the gauges? Maybe a rear rack for storage. Get tired of taking a backpack with me.
Hey Michael, we have kicked around the idea of building a custom battery with a higher voltage, as the Kelly controller can take up to 90V. This would allow for a higher top speed without the need to change gearing. I abandoned the idea of a gauge cover as the display was still difficult to see, even with the cover over it. The angle of that display is just not ideal. I am working on a custom display for my personal ebike project now, and it will be universal. So stay tuned! Hadn't thought of the rear rack idea..hmmm.
@@trowantechworks right on dude. Keep up the good work
Is it possible to change the top speed of the motor?
Hey Peter, the motor speed is limited by the battery voltage. The setting for motor speed in the motor controller is already maxed out when you get it from Monday. So changing it there won't do anything. The only way to increase your top speed would be with a custom battery pack with a higher voltage (72V to 90V) and/or a sprocket change. I will go over this in my next video!
@@trowantechworks Thanks a bunch! Your videos are interesting and fun to watch!
@@pete2.0 Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated. Any video ideas that you'd like to see in the future?
