I have a Jazzy HD Elite that is crazy slow! I’m disabled and I have to accept what my disability insurance will give me. Hopefully I don’t have to accept the limitations. Thanks for all your doing. Once you get to a point where I can get a shopping list of parts and instructions for enhancing the speed of a power chair for dummies I’m all in. I’ll continue to stay tuned and learn what I can in the meantime.

I notice a lot of wheel chairs use 14" wheels but I only have 8" wheels and wondering if I can compensate to attain 5 mph on smaller wheels....Looks like I can....subscribing.
Help me understand, what would happen if you connected a 42v battery to the chair with all its factory components, I’m sure something would fry but is it possible to modify the original controller or other components so they could handle 42v
I'm not sure without knowing the internals of that motor controller. But it is possible that you might damage the components with a voltage beyond what it is rated for.
I desperately need your assistance. I purchased a Daredevil Mower. I absolutely love everything about it except that it is very very slow. I believe the motors driving the tracks are similar to wheelchair motors. They are 12 volt motors. There is also a alternator that recharges the battery.
I think you'd have to replace the motor controller unfortunately, as I have done in this video series. There isn't a good way to re-program the proprietary motor controller.
I'm reading the potentiometer as an "analog input" into the ESP32, and then scaling that value with 0 to 100%. I know which direction the joystick is being pushed because the y axis value is forward and backward (negative and positive) and the x value is left and right (negative and positive). Does that answer your question?

I have a qwickie quantum I modified for my grandkids. I just want to make it a little faster, not a racecar. What can I do for that?

Did you put a diode across the output to the motor? This seems to be an effective way of keeping the smoke inside of these controllers
did that at the motor controller output to the motors. I also added capacitors to smooth it out as well
