What's one feature you love about Asana? 💛 Or if you haven't tried it yet, are you going to? Get your FREE Asana Roadmap here: louisehenry.com/asana-roadmap
I use Asana mainly for personal life management. I like that in Asana you link tasks to more than one project. I use this feature to manage all of my shopping and meal planning - linking recipes to a meal plan and creating shopping lists lists by store from a master shopping list. I can't find any other tool that does this as well (...well, without paying for it. :)
I am a big fan of Trello but I needed something to organize my two businesses. They are "sister" businesses and use much of the same sources. Asana has made it possible to have both businesses organized in one place (SO much info). I tweak and finesse as needed and it's really become something I rely on. I will probably still use Trello for client work though. Thanks for the video, Louise. Always great to pick up tips!
oh I just love the possibility of ticking off already done tasks! I have been looking for a tool that allows me to do this. same as you said, gives me this great feeling of accomplishment! with other tools, its just not visible anymore, and it felt like not knowing anymore, what I accomplished that day.. starting off now with asana and hoping it supports me in being my best organized self :)
Hi Louise, I don't use Asana 'cause I don't really have a business haha, but I'm watching it anyway and would recommend your channel to everyone 🥰❤️ 2020 is yours!!! 🙌
Always love your content, perspective, and how easily digestible you make things Louise. Board views are more valuable IMO for teams than soloentrepeneurs. The view comes in handy when working in teams and looking to move a project through stages to completion.
Thanks so much Frank! So kind of you to say. Totally - I love that boards are still an option and people can pick! I still use boards for a few things too :)
Hi Louise, nice content! I’ve just started using Asana. Couple of questions! 1) do sub-tasks nit show up in the calendar? 2) is there really no pop-up reminder alarm?! Thanks!!
Hey there! Subtasks can show up in the calendar, but you first have to assign it to yourself and assign a date 🙂 Also, there is no reminder alarm for individual tasks but you can turn on email notifications and select which mornings you would like to get emailed about what is on your agenda for that day! I hope this helps clarify! xx
Hi Louise! I find the Asana App for mobile phone slightly different than the desktop one. For example I can't find the option to change color for the tasks. Could you make a video about the App too? 🙏thank you!!
I liked your videos about Asana very much but when I went to switch I got an Error page when I tried to verify my e-mail. If they can't get a very simple Step 1 right I'm not very comfortable trusting them with my business
In this or one of your other videos, you recommended to minimize the number of projects in Asana. What's the reason for this recommendation? I'm looking to use Asana as a tab within Microsoft Teams, so would like to create a team in Asana to correspond to each Team in Microsoft Teams, then have an Asana project for each channel within each Team
I recommend to minimize projects, because often times I find people want to create new projects for everything- when really they fit under another project. Lots of people tend to get overwhelmed with too many projects as well, so I recommend this to decrease overwhelm. But, of course every team is different, and you should do what works best for you and your team!

I have been intimidated by Asana but I love how you broke everything down & simplified it! I've started using it more 🥰

aw, thank you so much! So kind of you!! :)
I enjoyed that. Not too long and too the point. I often puzzle whether to use Slack or Asana. Same but different. :)
I love this, thank you so so much!

Very helpful! Thank you! Question: Did you ditch your Google calendar completely for a Asana?
Hi Alexandra! Yes, I did! I love Asana!!

Have you tried clickup which is a mix between Asana and Trello?

Have had anyone using asana for construction management? With so many tasks involved how easy is it to use?

@@louisehenry Thanks Louise. Your videos are awesome! I've rejected Trello and Planner in favor of Asana based on your video. Thanks!
How do you have teams with projects underneath each team?? I cant get this to work for me! I'm starting to think its my original set up
Hey Edel! Yes, that is with your initial setup. Check out my free roadmap here: louisehenry.com/asana-roadmap I explain that issue there!
Curious why you have changed your name?
A few different reasons! I'll have to do a video on it. But mostly because it's more in-line with my big picture biz goals! :)
