      How do I manage my employees? Do I see all there projects they add or do they have to include me in order for me to see it?

      We use messages within the project so each person can weight in on the project. How do I set it up that if someone adds a message to the project that the team member is notified?

    I’ve been adding videos to task descriptions via Loom. Didn’t even pay attention to the native video option in Asana until now. Thanks for saving me a step!

    Just what I need Louise! I just sat down today to learn Asana for a team project I am managing. I recently figured out how to add a workspace. Is there a way to move or copy a project from one workspace to another if I created the project? Thank you so much for these videos...life-saving!!!💛

    • @louisehenry
      @louisehenry  2 года назад +2

      Hey Tracie! Yay! I'm so glad to hear this was just what you needed 🙌 Also, unfortunately, it's not possible to copy it quickly from one workspace to another! What you could do though is download the project as a CSV file and then import the CSV file to your other workspace! I hope that helps!

      Hey! Great insight! One of the reasons I use Asana is to cut down on the different apps that I use - it really helps me amalgamate all of my to-dos, my calendar, and my team communication into one helpful tool 🙂

    What software do you recommend? Can Asana create this feature?

    I have repeatable projects (e.g. build kitchen) that has a standard set of tasks assigned to roles. With those tasks li ked rogether over time. How do inset that up so when I get a new project in, it automatically creates all of the tasks, subtasks and assignments?

      Hi! This is using Teams in Asana 🙂 You can have teams once you have an organization, which is free as long as you sign up for Asana with a business email! I hope this helps clarify how to do that! It's a great feature 🙌

      Hey Annette! Yes, you can! You can see these for each individual team member by clicking on that team member's profile picture 🙂 This will pop their dashboard, but if you select "view all tasks" this will bring up all of their tasks, and then just like you can in a project you can select list view or calendar view to view them on!

    How does this new feature of templates work?

    • @louisehenry
      @louisehenry  2 года назад

      Hey! You can create a template for projects or for tasks so that when you go to create a project or task for particular activities, you aren't starting from scratch! Instead, you're starting with a map of the tasks you've already laid out for that project! This means saving so much time ⚡️ If you want to access a more in-depth training for this, including templates, I do have a course called Uplevel With Asana that you may enjoy! You can learn more here: www.uplevelwithasana.com/website 🙂

    Do you know how many projects can i create at the same moment and do they dissapear after they are marked as completed?

    • @louisehenry
      @louisehenry  Год назад +1

      Hi! You can only make one project at a time, but you can have unlimited projects in your Asana at once! You can mark your tasks complete and have them disappear after marked as completed, or you can have them remain in your project. Once you're complete with a project, then you can archive it or leave it under your team. There are so many options and it really just depends on your preference! 🙂

      Hey Jen! Do you have the Google Calendar and Asana integration? 🙂 I would use this! Then, you can set the reminders in Google. Unfortunately, Asana itself doesn't have a reminder for each individual task and instead can send you an email in the morning with all tasks for that day!
