I am here to report back to you that I made this tincture for the first time. The first day of my annual bout with ear/nose/throat infection I drank this with ginger and honey tea throughout the day, and by the next day, the pain and irritation was GONE!! It usually lasts at least a week without antibiotics! Thank you so much for sharing the wisdom of the woods!

It is so awesome to find a video on literally every plant ally I need educating about. Goldenrod is the latest, just harvested a bunch and did a tincture. I was surprised to see the flowers already going to seed, but then, everything is early here this year, so lucky me to find some that was just beginning to flower in the shade and starting to go to seed in the sunnier locations. You are amazing, thank you for all you do!💚

But you're wonderful. I harvested some Goldenrod today (we have acres growing at our Alabama home) and I'm off to start a tincture. You make me feel confident and excited. You're explanations are effortless and instinctual. You're a brilliant teacher.

It's darn close enough. :) If it is less than 190 proof, I would need to seek out that handy dandy online distillation calculator. Where does one find that? Thank you for your video. I'm in NE Ohio and about to harvest goldenrod now. Checking back in to remind myself what all you said in this video. Having issues finding 100 proof, so likely to go with 80 percent, which is fine by me. First attempt, but you have me convinced I can do this! Thank you so much for the wonderful information and such fun presentation.
