awesome trick for High end retouching ....the tutorial which I am looking for.....I already tried on a beautiful portrait and get beautiful result ......thanks for the beautiful tutorial ...... I become a fan of your tutorial .....still waiting for your next tutorials ....... thanks a lot.
its amazing work i ever seen... good job dude.. you make her skin very natural look and i am so happy that you didnt use spot healing or smudge tool. its superb work
It's not high-end retouching, it's just a part of frequency separation. Because frequency separation itself is only a part of high end retouching. I would prefer to use this method when you get stuck where you can't find solution to correct the skin, but that too in a very little amount.
There is a lot more to skin retouching than just using frequency separation. Especially with problem area skin near the forehead which is a common area problem. This technique is limited. Better start with micro dodge and burn then, air brushing or frequency separation, then create skin texture and add small amount near the end to make it look more real. Yes this is hours of work, but there are NO shortcuts to professional retouching. Thanks.
I noticed you applied the mask to the layer in sharpening but in the smooth skin you apply the mask to the smart filter. Is there any particular reason n for that? Great tutorials. Thanks!
i applied mask to the smart filter, because for smooth skin layer i already added basic gaussian blur at starting. If we mask it then too much details will reveal from " Details Texture Layer" and looks unnatural. So i don't want to affect it.
During the creation of the "Sharpness" layer, both the subtitled instructions as well as the written ones indicated the blending mode should be changed to Linear Light. However, the video clearly shows it was changed to Vivid Light. Later, after some editing takes place, it is finally changed to Linear Light. That's a bit confusing don't you think? And, during your final stages a skin blemish is discovered. You demonstrate how to handle this both in the video and written instructions. However, the PSD file does not contain any of this. Why?
Thanks humble pie, u can use any "overlay or soft light or vivid or linear light" it depand on your taste. Due to file size upload limit, i deleted spot remove layer to keep it below 20MB.
I think that I found that this technic only work well with high end looking faces with previous makeup, because if is not the case gives a fake look of retouch.
Sorry but I think this video has to be a joke. I saw the title and was curious. this is the least professional beauty retouch I´ve seen. So fake and overdone. FS it´s soooo dangerous, it should be done after cleaning and DB and even then maybe in some areas only and even then lower the opacity to 20% hehehe Good luck
an old method never dies
Yes maybe too much blur...but I DO love the tecnique all over. If u already know how to use FS...this comes SO SO helpful, thanks so much man!
Thank you so much 💓 My Favorite of F S

this is it...the search for that subject is over! thank you so much 😊 does it work on 16 bit too?
for 16 bit color depth, change blending to "ADD" in apply image, keep offset: 0 and enable invert option.
😬
I honestly think that the blur is too much on the skin look almost plastic to me.

This is only meant to explain the specific technique of frequency separation. What you do before or after frequency separation is up to you
Let's see it slowly.
Thank You

Great work...
Good technique
When you sharpen the image, you add an extra mask. Why don't you use the mask of the sharpening filter?
Super!

How would the settings differ for 16 bit? Thx
for 16bit, in apply image dialog, change blending to ADD, scale: 2 and offset: 0
Shouldn't he also check the Invert box?
PSDESIRE Photoshop Tutorials Invert? Thx. Anxious to try your method!
I kind of dont like that it removed her freckles...takes away from the natural look. Other than that...great tutorial.

Videos with robot voices or no talking at all are pointless. Dislike.
