this color palette is from 6500K whitebalance right? you do know that skintones changes depending on what whitebalance you have. low whitebalance and you get an more redish skintone. fixing that will ruin the mood in the picture.
Hands down, you‘ve got the best PS Tutorials I‘ve ever seen. Always straight on point without any extra bla bla bla and easy to understand. It‘s a pleasure to watch them
This man's voice is incredible. I've seen a few of his videos but i love how he's able to deliver information so sufficiently. I can't believe i haven't done this before, but subscribed!!:)
Wooooow!!! I'm impressed!!! I live in Poland and here anybody gives You this knowledge about Photoshop just like You.. in our country it's a "Top Secret" 😂😂😂 Thank You so much!!!!!
Funny that you think i want some kind of fast method to learn. I don't and i already manage to use photoshop properly (not that properly, tho). What i'm interested in is in Unmesh's story. That path he took, how he decided to become who he is now, what he went through while learning. i'm 200% sure that that will encourage SOOO many people to learn from their own and be as amazing as him, but in their own way :)
I switched to Fuji from canon last December and have always struggled to get skin tones to look pleasing like my canon cameras did ... this video has helped me get back my look that made my style unique to me...I've always done dramatic environmental shots but found I had to pull a lot of saturation out of my images and then pump it back in on the person ...it still didnt work...I took your tips...create two images...one I use my colour grade from dramaticness and the other is the flat image...send them to photoshop...use your skin grading technique to get colours to work and then mask the person into the dramatic photo...so thankyou
your knowledge is great. but more then that you are a great teacher, just knowing photoshop by heart is not enough to convey that knowledge to others. knowing how to teach is needed and you have that knowledge too. this channel is the nr 1 photoshop learning channel ive seen boot in knowledge and effectiveness for learning. thank you for teaching
Man! thefirst tuto i find really straight to the point with no self propaganda and views seeking, but you know what? I don't need more than this vid to sub and like and save in favs! Cheers
Thank you for this tutorial, it really cuts down on the time spent on editing photos. By the way, just wanted to compliment you on the hair and the brows, not many can wear it as good as you. Have a blessed day!
Wow! thatr's what I love about photoshop, so many different ways to do many things. After using photoshop for almost 20 years, I've never tried this one, THANKS!!!
You're the best. Period. I'm pretty good at retouching, but literally can't keep all this knowledge in my head and your videos are the perfect quick reference. Subscribed.
This is the only channel where I learn something new. I thought I know Photoshop by heart but as I see there are some hidden things I've never been using. Great tutorial! Thank you!!
Hey Unmesh. Your knowledge and teachings have really helped me out on Photoshop. I was a total newbie on Feb 2020 and now I can say that I know my way around thanks to you. Keep up the good work man. Your contents are gems.
You are a photoshop wizard! I’ve learned so much from you my friend! You always get to the point, while making sure to explain how it all works and why. Instead of just running through a to do list. I also learn why it works! Thanks!
It seems to me that for this particular image, fixing the setting that made the skin tones wrong in the first place would be a better approach. I expect that you took a good picture and messed it up to use as an example, by using the tint control on the color/tint adjustment or the WB adjustment when importing. I'd like to see this trick applied when the skin tones _really_ are strange, and can't be fixed by normal adjustments. Say, with a strongly colored reflection or colored lights. That is, something taken with available light, not with well-controlled lighting. When you have good lighting, there should be no reason why the skin tones are off. Just always shoot a grey cloth (better than a grey card) and you'll have no trouble setting the WB to match the lights, using the WB eyedropper.
Skin tones may still be off a little bit even when you use a gray card or cloth to set white balance. I've set white balance and still felt the skin tones needed a little adjustment. "Proper" gray card white balance I feel is a touch too cold when it comes to skin tones.
Unmesh, I created my own 16bit rgb swatch. I couldn't figure out why my values where not accurate until I figured out that I was using a 8bit swatch in a 16 bit image. Just a suggestion, you might want to add that to your videos. I appreciate all you teach us.
@@MrObrienneil you need to create a blank 16 bit page layer on photoshop and copy the numbers on Umish's color swatch but on a 16bit. That is how it worked for me.
Unmesh you are a lifesaver! Thanks for all your videos!🙂 A couple of weeks ago I was stuck with a blurry photo from a client. I used your tutorial on how to fix blur and rectified it. The souvenir prints I made from that photo were of unbelievably high quality. Thanks once again.
I really love the way how you pronounce the word "color"☺ But seriously your rhetorical talent is absolutly outstanding, paired with you professional skills in PS and how to teach it, even a dummy like me can learn how to manipulate and enhance Photos into real artworks in PS. Many many thanks to you and your parents, who must be, and honestly can be, very proud what a great person they have "created"👍👍
Haha that's what I thought, but don't worry, once you turn intermediate level you'll see that's it is actually all one button, as all other actions are indeed quite easy
This has near the same results as white balancing, but I imagine it would work really well at pulling a range of images taken in different lighting conditions into the same relative space rather easy.
I have to give credit where credit it's due. By far the best tutorial channel for photoshop,..... buuuuuuuut this video fell short. I followed exactly as shown for over 3 hours and could not reproduce your results, even with your downloadable media... please update this video in better detail or show 1 fluid screen shot without cuts to close up of your beautiful face. All your other videos were easy to follow right along and get the same results, this one however... a bit misleading... I know you are going to fix this with another amazing video. Thanks for all your contributions.
Your videos have been such a big help!! I have told my former photography professor about your page. Now he uses your videos to help him edit his photos too!!
I am trying this tip tomorrow!!! Thank you, your tips and tricks are wonderful and you make it so easy and simple to follow. I appreciate all you do to help other photographers. Thank you!
