Cilic played top 5 tennis here. Went for a winner the first opportunity in every rally & it paid off most of the match but Rafa was too good that day. The people who say US open has been slowed down are just morons look at how Cilic was able to hit winner after winner in the 1st 3 sets the only thing is that when you're that aggressive you tend to make more errors... that's part & parcel of the game! Absolutely! And Roger made a statement this week and said, " We will see how next year(2021)goes and we will take it from there." Rafa shots need to land 3/4 or on baselines more often say 90% - that occurring Nadal chances of winning matches would be very high. And mix it up with drop shots, volleys and lobs, not just power at all times. This type of game plan is so interesting for the sport. Cheers

Cilic was using more power and less brain to beat Nadal here. Thats not how you beat Nadal man.
Cilic winners are so clean that Nadal was not even trying to run. There is no use of such winners. Nadal would have won this match even if he had lost first two sets. He was looking fresh even at the end of the match.
If the Croatian cant try drop shots and make Nadal run more there will be hardly any chance for him against Nadal.

He showed up in Serena's match again to make some publicity stunt on TV, that's the match before Federer vs. Dimitrov, then, he disappeared, which made Federer wondering the whole match, where is that guy?
