  • This is an almost end result of one side. Ignore my installation videos I never finished. Cognito dual shock hoop, Congito dual shock mount upper control arm (uca), Cognito sway bar link for smaller lift vehicles, Kryptonite lower ball joint which you obviously can't see, high articulation axle shaft or cv shafts, Mevotech lower arm bushings, can't remember the brand of progressive shocks but it sucked getting them in and I pray they aren't too long. I went by Cognitos instructions for the lengths. Still needed to put my torsion key back in and crank it back up 3 inches but I had enough for the night. The next video I do on it will be completely finished and alignment done and back on the road.

How can I get in touch with you to talk about your build? I have the Fabtech 6" lift, and I would like to talk to you about the coilovers that you have. Thank you for sharing!

Do you mean the rear coil springs? The air system was removed already when I bought it. The Fabtech springs just sit in there but I think I bought rubbers to keep the noise down. I also have a 3" front leveling kit installed on top of the lift which they said not to do but I haven't had any problems. Front sat to high though so I put 2" leveling kit in the rear under the springs but I also got bolts long enough to go through the center so they'd never come out if the rear lifted up too much. I made sure they were steel as well not cheap plastic. It was a real pain to get it all in after and the spring was like a half inch from the tank so I'm maxed unless I move the axle back with my adjustable arms. My Instagram is james2003h2 you can message me on there if you need to.

@james102377 Thank you brother! I'm not on Instagram yet.... but I will get on it in the next few days to message you. I have a number of questions and I hate texting. Hopefully I will be able to get some answers.

How does it ride? Will those shock hoops work with kryptonite upper arms?

Rides like a caddy but potholes are a little rough. The shock hoops won't work with Kryptonite arms because there's no shock mounts on the Kryptonite arms that I know of. I think you'd have to get long shocks and attach them to the lower arm similar to factory. I'm guessing. I don't remember seeing any mount on the upper Kryptonite arms but I've seen photos with dual shocks and Kryptonite arms so something is possible.

You'd be pretty lucky to find those shock hoops. Cognito discontinued them a long time ago. I got super lucky someone was selling a set they never installed and Cognito still had the bolt kit for it. I just looked up those arms and can't believe the price skyrocketed at least on ebay.

The shock hoops? I think they were $800. I picked them up for $400 off someone on Facebook marketplace that had them and never installed them.
