Mercedes OM651 engine (w204 CDI) lack of power. Limp mode.

- This engine has error codes P245414 and P245328 stored in memory. Despite the engine light is off, engine won't go past 2500 rpms and 7g tronic has jerks and gears will engage at higher rpms than normal. This is probably due to the B28/8 differential pressure sensor of the dpf. I'll keep posted the video description :-)

I had the same problem and I solved it, it was the particle filter sensor, I changed it and solved the problem
Yep, had the same problem. Limp mode can be a variation of reasons, but mine was fixed when i changed the oil in the trans. + changed exhaust gas temperature sensors before and after the DPF filter.
The dpf differential pressure sensor is just one sensor part with two hoses😊
if you have removed adblue, the problem lies in the programming, you need the original file and do it somewhere else, I had this problem and I fixed it

My car suffers from the same problem. It was diagnosed that the exhaust gas return pipe is broken and there is a pressure leak, so the repair will take 10 days until the broken piece arrives. I will let you know everything new.

I am dealing with the same problem now guys , my car is at the merc specialist, they’ve said will check the vacuum lines , to see if there is any leaks, in not they said could be oil into the vacuum lines, and I’ll need to find out where is leaking from ! That could cost 1500 pounds they said ! Duno what to do ….😢

It's impossible to diagnose like this. But it could be the dpf pressure sensor. Good luck

Just read the fault codes instead of guessing.
I have the same problem today i changed the sensor and same.. the sensor before was changed 2021 by someone. Diag is writing that sensor is still bad…
Probably not the sensor. Could be clogged dpf, wire issues. Not easy to tell. Good luck
Replaced wires already bought the 3rd sensor original mercedes, replaced the temperature sensor on dpf, cleaned the dpf by proffesionalls and still the same issue i am done .

Hi, I didn't solve it yet, but I think that 90% it's the B28/8 dpf pressure differential sensor
