Jordan is the most important on-camera hire that Corridor has ever made. Charm, charisma, skill, comedic timing. I think it every time he's featured in a video.

This is definitely the best game video Corridor Crew has made yet. This is the first one where I felt like they were actually on a level playing field.
Ultimately this is an incredible concept. A proficient animator vs a competitor in the real-world physical surrounding - and the aim - to see who could operate better in which dimension. Wow.
a) So good to see Jake back in the studio b) Man imagine how different things could've gone if they'd enforced those few errant "Dudes" that got away from them... lol
I think if Jordan had a bit of a more user friendly interface for controlling initial conditions he would've had it. I know from my own experience that it can be a bit tricky to dial in some precise vectors when you need to adjust the components individually instead of being able to provide, e.g., axis angle rotations and scale value, or a good geometric graphical interface.
But isn't that part of the video? Like if there already was a better way to dial it in they would use that method... No? "If Jordan could just reverse the shot from cup to starting point, having the computer do the hard work, then they'd easily win this challenge"
I don't know who that lady at 14:02 is, but I already love her from the combined 1.2 seconds she's been on the channel. First the unmatched display of joyful energy, topped off with a cool walk off at 14:22
To everyone out there who thinks trick shots are fake, this should settle once and for all how difficult it would actually be to fake them…and how advanced your computers and skills need to be to make a fake shot look real 😅 Great video guys!!
Yeah it would take a whole 15 minutes, crazy, nobody would ever put in that much work for thousands of dollars in youtube money. All trick shots must be real
@@richarddiani5856 When you said that, it honestly made me realize that a majority of the sorts of people who would fake this stuff wouldn't even have the slightest clue how to properly fake it in a believable way. Hell, it already takes some pretty advanced software to begin with, let alone knowing how to tweak it to line things up just right. Though of course, even saying all that, there's still bound to be at least some who are smart enough to manage it, but yea.
This was really entertaining, the beer pong rules really made it tough lol. For your next one something that would suck to do for both sides is anything involving a loop-de-loop I think. Maybe something from a ridiculous height too?
This is kind of brilliant for the crew because they can test effect processing time compared to IRL action, and see if their process is better or worse given certain conditions. And they can build team cohesion and make a few extra dollary-doo's by filming it in a contest environment.
Keep shredding, guys! Been watching for years now, and it's so cool to see you keep doing interesting and fun ideas like this. Glad the website seems to be working out as a catalyst for more unique content.
This was an awesome concept for a video. Like they said at the end DEFINITELY do real like vs vfx races again. Doesn't have to just be trick shots. Could be some type of actual race. First spitball would be One wheel from a place to the office in the time it takes to create and render that same path taken and make a character traverse it. Recreate your celebrity challenges in virtual world racing the winners of said celebrity double challenges. Could be new challenges so a stunt for Jackie etc. Time wise this might be the hardest to get close. Find (or if you have one in house don't know) an artist who draws or paints, then give them both the same image or view to recreate and race, then you can also have judges at the end. This will also allow for you to lean towards one or the other (for the better imo) Feeling good at the end is more important that outcome of course. VFX vs Real Life is such a cool open concept. Can't wait to see what you all come up with! Already do my favorite RUclips based show in Stuntmen react and second favorite in VFX artists react. Are you going to take third place as well? WTF
This whole company is way too charismatic man. I could watch these guys do just about anything and be thoroughly entertained for 20 minutes lmao. I never thought I would buy some RUclips merch. I'm too old for all that. But if Corridor puts out some sort of understated hoodie or snapback with their logo on a nice design, I'll buy one just to support these guys. I can't imagine how much fun these guys have every day. I know every job sucks at times when you're stressing over a deadline or whatnot. But man working at Corridor must be a dream lol.
Those fake music ramps on Jake's final task, absolute genius from whoever edited this one! Kept up the tension of not knowing while also making each near-miss feel epic in-and-of itself
Though many may not have realized it, but Fenner clutched in those digital trick shots, calming Jordan's nerves and providing guidance. Seriously, he's incredibly skilled (second only to Wren for me, of course
A trickshot with a frisbee or other types of objects could be fun since they have different parameters to tweak than just a ball with bounce. Like when jordan added the wind effect, solutions like those are what makes the VFX side so unique to configure.
omg make this a series. that was so cool and exciting and anxiety inducing lol. i dont even know who i was rooting for but i was on the edge of my seat towards the end there
Both competitors got away with a couple of dudes and Jordan spilled a smoothie on Jordan, who got angry with Jordan. He couldn't avoid the smoothie hazard. Jake is such a cool cuke...just analyzed and downloaded the physics. That's how humans work, not a bunch of numerical variables - just raw sensory data fed into vestibular muscle memory baby. The guy nailed the Spidey tray trick...(with Jordan)...so this was locked down enevitable. So much fun to watch too..Love how the excitement brought everyone around. Very good. Jordan must now pay for Jordan's shoes, or Jordan can sell them as collateral damage art! 😎 Blessings! DJ xSUBn ({¬_¬})
I have an idea, you put a camera on a transparent ball, drop the ball while recording. Then before seing the footage you have to recreate the same footage in 3d. The one who recreate the most accurate footage win. You can water splash or other dynamic in real life and see if the simulation in 3d is realistic...
It's a fun challenge but it shows how incredibly complex the human brain is with adapting and adjusting to these precision shots from a single visual perspective. Well done Jake.

This! I had to search way too low in the comments to find this. Jordan's controls were so clumsy that he wasted way too much time on them.
There is also the factor of him completely changing his values on his first trick making it so he has to repeat it
