- This lion had been caught in a poachers snare, the wire had cut into his windpipe allowing him to breathe through the injury until help arrived . This lion is recuperating well and sharing an enclosure with other rehabilitated lions. Only if the lion knew he had the strength to charge through n be able to get over that fence . The injuries will be minor but reward will be great (lads feeding the cat) just like when we hop over a fence to retrieve our ball , 90 percent of the time we end up with some scratches but getting to the ball was worth it.

they are bigger, stronger, better hunters & have a far more terrifying/paralyzing roar, hence why hollywood films use tiger roars instead of lion roars.

You can tell that Lion has been to hell and back. He's been in a fights in his lifetime. Male Lions are built for combat and that chap has been through it all. Heart of a Lion they say. Notice he also doesn't blink when they throw the meat, he keeps his eyes on his target, when he feels it's clear to turn he goes straight where the meat is without having to look where it landed. He's an experienced killer with cold precision alright.
