The way Nick's face moved from Bud to Adalind and the Eye stare was just soo fun.

Something that has always bothered me about how the characters and a good portion of the fandom talks about Adalind is that the writing makes it fairly clear that Renard was actually ordering her to do pretty much everything bad that she did to Nick up to the point that Nick took her powers away that first time. She constantly gets the exclusive blame for it, even with the stuff that the show showed her giving a little bit of push back and Renard pushed her.
I will grant that almost everything that she did after her powers were taken that first time seemed to be done willingly.
What I'm saying is, they keep blaming the ex-footsoldier, but not the General.

You make a good point. Please keep in mind that I record these in advance and there’s definitely one comment I remember saying in a future video that goes against this comment-please just ignore that haha. Thanks for sharing your views and I definitely appreciate seeing things from a different point of view.

Don't forget that it was Adalind's mother and Renard who made her target Nick and his aunt. The rest was just revenge for using her and taking away her Hexenbeast

The Wesen side doesn't give you a whole new personality, it just boosts aspects of your personality. The animal instinct part of people, fittingly. Adalind as a Hexenbiest wasn't vengeful, she was cunning & manipulative, almost playfully so which made her fun to watch. She became vengeful after Nick took away her powers but even that wasn't anything as potent as Juliette. So, the idea that everything Juliette is doing is because of her new powers isn't fully accurate, her powers are magnifying her darker emotions but there's still quite a bit of Juliette in it, which makes it fascinating. Juliette never seemed really thrilled by Nick regaining his powers, but then the attack on Monroe & Rosalee happened & she felt like she had to. She blames them all for what's happened to her, which is partially true, but she loves what's it creating, it's... she's unstable basically but it's her thoughts guiding it, the new Wesen side is amping the darker aspects up & the powers allow her to do things she couldn't before. Adalind rubbing things on her belly while preganant had nothing to do with being pregnant as far as I remember, it was because of the spell she cast to regain her powers. I like the new royal, he's very punchable, and he actually seems like a threat. He isn't just saying kill the Grimm, he's being all cunning about it, granted Nick isn't his objective. Oh, Adalind hasn't given up her powers, remember Henrietta said Juliette's powers can't be taken away, Adalind knew of a way to suppress it. Hope you're having a great week Dakara, loving the Grimm reactions & I cannot wait to see your reactions to everything coming.

Re: Adalind & the potion - one thing to remember about the potion is that she said it wasn't a cure, it was a suppressant, which means she's not really made herself human, she's just suppressed the Hexenbiest part of herself. I think we were all just waiting for your reaction to the cliff-hanger ending as this is one that is practically evil of them, luckily for me & waited for the boxset so I didn't have to wait either.

The episodes have really gotten deeper and moving at faster pace than before it is really kicking off now, I really love your reactions and since I have seen this series multiple times knowing what is coming up, makes me look forward to your reactions even more, you are a fresh, and sweet ray of sunshine in a normally dull day, keep reacting please.

@@DakaraJaynewhen the series is done can you engage the fans in talking about alternative storylines the show could have done? imagine if when Juliette and Nick made love she became pregnant while in Adelines form.imagine Nick having to deal with two pregnant women. 😁😁😁

    1. I still can't believe the group thought Juliette would willingly take the potion. I mean, if burning down the trailer wasn't a big enough sign, well, you already know what happens next.
    2. Of course they left it there. This show revels in its trolling cliffhangers. I can only assume it's because of David Greenwalt. He learned to troll audiences from his time working with the master of audience trolling: Joss Whedon.

Wesen's can only see Grimm's non human eyes when they woge. Since Adalyn wasn't able to woge she can't test it just by looking at Nick's eyes

Hi from France, I discovered you recently thanks to this series that I love, I watched all of your Grimm reactions in less than 3 weeks, I have just caught up on the delay I had and I I can't wait to see you discover the rest. So far, which wessen has scared you the most? Personally the Aswang is the one I find the most frightening

The Aswang for sure is a scary one! I also hated the one that was shut down by playing that musical instrument (I can’t recall the name of it now).

Hahaha but they did end it at that..and then people had to wait for the next episode to see what happens. If you think burning the trailer and hurting her friends is the worst thing Juliette will do..uh you are so wrong. And good questions about Adalinds personality. I never saw Adalind personality as just evil. But more very unlucky, misunderstood and pressed.
The whole thing with the key and trying to kill Aunt Marie was because her mother (who seem pretty mean) and Renard asked her to it. When she then did all she could do to get the key from Nick and lost her power. Both her mother and Renard turn her back on her.
Only she had left was revenge and she used it to both hit both Renard and Nick. The man that she loved, that did not love her back and used her (Renard) and the grimm that took her powers and therefore her life from her. Putting Juliette in a coma, put a crush on her and renard and making Juliettes lose her memories was part of the revenge.
Going to royal family was also revenge, but revenge that lead to a plan to get her powers back. Diana was that plan, she had no plans that you would love her child that much but she did.. I could already see a much more, caring and change Adalind after Diana was born. She was about to change and live a whole new life...be a better mom and bang tragic happens..they only thing she really loves, her chance for change is taken from her by the group...
What does she have left nothing but the will to do everything to get her child back.. Remember she thought that royals had Diana and if the group will not help her. She will get her back and why not get more revenge on Nick, Juliette and Renard in the process. People she asked for help )but did not want to help her(don't get me wrong I would not have helped her either after what she had done). Is okay what she has done

Yeah Juliette was always my last favorite character and it became easier to hate her after all this. Adalind was easily the most complex character of the show. I love all of your guesses on Adalind's progression now that she has suppressed the Hexenbiest.

The idea of Sean being taken over by Jack the Ripper is horrible. Wesen escort services would be a Royal enterprise available to those with the money and willing to follow the rules needed to have access to it. This episode and the next should deal with a former client that did not follow the rules and realized their Wesen form is real and not masks and make-up. The client ended up in a mental institution convinced the escorts are human-animal hybrid and has made it his mission to expose what he believes is a crime against nature. The client first tortures and kills the person that referred him to the service stealing his identity and setting up an appointment in Nick's city. He stabs the Wesen woman and then lays her on the bed and covers her with a sheet. He showers and then leaves and we see as he showers the woman changes back to her human form. Nick realizes this could be Wesen related when they visit the escort's roommate and Nick sees she is Wesen. Sean contacts the Royal in charge which is his half brother and the Royal agrees to work with Sean on this case. the head of security advises the Royal that one of his cousins could use this to gain support for replacing the Royal in charge. The royal believes it is necessary to preserve a rather lucrative enterprise after the loss experienced by the Wesen Council. Nick waits until Adalind is showering to go into her room and check the bag she always keeps with her. Nick finds the picture Adalind took from Juliet's room of Nick and the engagement ring she took from Nick's room. Nick decides not to mention it at this time, but wonders why Adalind took these items when she came to Nick's house as Juliet to remove his GRIMM abilities. We see the client is in New York outside a luxury hotel.
