Seems you missed that Meisner lied to Renard. He's the one who tossed the king from the helicopter so he knows *exactly* where Diana is.

So the Nick and Adalind moved a lot quicker than many fans thought was norms but I have a fairly good reason as to why.
Nick and Adalind went through so much trauma, sometimes caused by each other, and both had lost almost everything that had defined who they were. The truth is they needed each other to rebuild and they ended up leaning on each other for that and it was beautiful to see

There are many references to the story of Peter Pan, including the names of the characters: Peter (Peter Pan), Big John (John Darling), Miguel (Michael Darling), Lily (Tiger Lily), Warden Hooke (Captain James Hook), and Wendy Henley (Wendy Darling). Other references are needing medicine, wanting a mother, asking mother to tell them a story that is long and with fighting, that "Mother" sleeps next to one of the children, and even the fact that each of the Lost Boys in Peter Pan wears a different animal pelt, which each of the children emulated in their respective woges, Lily - Fox, John - Rhino, Miguel - Bear, and Peter - Dog.

Not gonna lie, with all the ups and downs, all the stuff they done at eachother, they really gave some nice moments to Nick and Adalind and made me ship them. I mean, i already liked Adalind before, so i liked that the writers steered her into Nick's life.

"Home, sweet home...". Yes, it is. Getting a dirt cheap apartment the size of a football field & the ceilings of a cathedral, w/lite-water-gas-parking-security-no neighbors-no landlord-etc included. This must be the most fantasy-esque moment of the whole series.

The teen is named Peter after Peter Pan. All episodes are based on old legends and fairytales. Big John is named after Wendy’s brother. Lili is named after Lili the Tiger I guess ^^

Odd, I'm still subscribed (& have all selected), but I didn't get a notification for this today... I was a little surprised you took so long to realise that they were going to snatch Rosalee. As for the Council, they're a global group so they're not always going to have an eye on things that happen in Portland & unless it escalates into something that could expose the Wesen world they'll have other concerns. If you think back it took Rosalee & Renard reporting the bank robbers to them before they really became aware of them, so it's understandable why they might not present given Renard is relying on Nick & Rosalee is on the outs with them because of her friendship with Nick.

The king's death is not a big thing because he was pushed out of a helicopter over the ocean... nobody else saw this... for all the world knows, the king is not necessarily dead, he is technically just "missing"... His disappearance could be kept quiet by his people until they know for sure what happened to him -- which is unlikely to ever happen.

Also show moved on from the "Royals" storyline. If I remember right - they don't show up again.

I think they kind of just push the royal aside for black claw. Trying to bring a bigger enemy in the show, The royal always felt like the team rocket in the show always a random plot to get Nick, but the menace always felt weak by itself. The royal being human limit their power and influence in the show. So bringing a massive organization do feel like a stronger menace for Nick.

It’s also because the actor who played Viktor was not available and the king is dead. He was the only one who ordered to bring Diana in Austria. Nobody else wanted that. Kenneth and Viktor just respected his desire but didn’t really care.

This is yet another example of bad writing attempting to steal the story of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys because they do not have an original thought in their heads. The kids that escaped foster care live in a makeshift shelter in the woods. There have been petty thefts in the area, homes broken into, and things like food, clothing, blankets, and medication being stolen. The girl of the group of 5 is very sick and one of the boys end up at the Spice Shop. After attempting to steal what Rosalie recommends Rosalie just gives it to him. The boy is confused that Rosalie did not seem to be afraid of him in his Wesen form. Nick is at home with Adalind dealing with Adalind's frustration over not knowing what her son wants. This contrasts with Adalind's experience with Diane who is a telepath. Hank gets assigned the case of the petty theft break-ins with a new detective that just transferred in. The girl is still in bad shape and the boy comes back to Rosalie for help. Rosalie leaves Monroe to watch the shop. The girl is too bad for Rosalie to help her and needs to be taken to a hospital. The others refuse to let her be taken away and discuss what to do with Rosalie. Hank brings in Monroe to help track down where the kids are that they have determined are responsible for the break-ins. Rosalie tries to help the girl and realizes she is the same type of Wesen as Rosalie an remembers what Adalind told her. Monroe gets Rosalie's scent and the kids are discovered. The new detective is sent back to wait for the ambulance to arrive and lead them there. Hank calls Nick and gets his Wesen contact in DCFS. In spite of knowing this the new detective calls Juvenile Detention to pick up the kids. Hank has to call Sean to sort things out and send the Juvenile Detention people away. Rosalie asks the DCFS person to let the girl go home with them after she is treated at the hospital. Sean reprimands the new detective. Hank runs the system in his car to locate tracking devices and finds one. At a gas station Hank removes the tracker and places it on a truck going out of the city. Rosalie stays at the hospital and reassures the girl when she wakes up that she is safe.

I really didn't care for the way they tried to force Nick and Adalind together. Yes, Adalind has changed, but still - Adalind has done too much for Nick to just be, "well, Juliette's dead, so let's jump into bed with the woman who caused all our problems." The two of them together feels just as forced and wrong as the kids kidnapping moms off the street.

In fairness, he's done a lot to her as well, ie killing her Hexenbiest side & stealing Diana, ok that first one was to save Hank, but it's a really messed up situation. It's a little clunky, but they wanted her to remain on the show & needed her to have a place; not sure where else they could have fit her in given Nick's the father, having them hate one another would have been difficult, so they've gone the bonding in the face of trauma route.
