RLS wrote such wonderful dialogue. And Mr. Lane brings those words to life with maximum vitality and authenticity.

These stories always end so abruptly. I always want more. But, it had a good ending. I read stories like this in high school and always loved them, especially the manner of speaking. I was so delighted to find these. They always make me think and pass on good advice for life. Thank you so very much!
So basically the guy said he’d rather die than be forced to marry her and then a bunch of stuff I can’t understand then he thought she’s not bad looking and then he agreed to marry her. Jeez, there’s nothing more incomprehensible than Victorian interpretations of medieval chivalry.

Beautifully read, but exhausting! I can't be the only one who wanted to smack their dumb heads together!!
Standard story. The women is beautiful. The guy brave and chivalrous. What happens if the woman was plain? Not expected from a writer like RLS.
Good voice. It would be ideal to help me sleep except for all the annoying ads. I won’t be choosing this series again.
